#glevel owns both of them because you place both in levels :D

DB NPCs, classes and weapons are pretty independent of levels.

You see how far a server full of those scripts gets you with 0 levels to use them on o_o

Say an average player logs onto a server

1) You need a level to PLACE him on to begin with else he'll be stuck on graal's loading screen

We can make a fun mud or so with PMs, or give RC to everyone and use RC chat.

Yea I am not going to join #ggraphics.

Couple reasons:

Its obiviously just mimicing #gscript (which has its own guild AND pw)

The name #gscript makes sense, where as the actual name of the language used to script in graal is gscript, and the # plays a double purpose (Its the same as the mIRC channel, but also # is used at beginning of lines in script that are not to be read as code by the engine, for notes and stuff.

#ggraphics does not have a strong as a case to use such a format x_x The end?

Oh, and I dont want to just jump on the bandwagon because everybody else thinks its cool. I dont, sorry. :frown:

Anyway, it's like if there were too hillbilly mothers, both pregnant, but one gave birth first. She called her baby Mary-sue, but then the other one gave birth and was like "Hey, ya know whut? Ama gunna call mah babey Mary-Jane, now where'd ah put mah boomstick?". Getting all backed up and defensive about a damned global guild, especially one that doesn't have hostile intentions towards the original, is a bit childish if you ask me o_O

I don't think its cool, i think it'd be fun to be in a global gfx guild, no matter what the name. Its not my fault they "copied" #gscript ^^

I was giving examples why the name and name format has a poor basis to be used as a guild name. The name has its own guild, in that its used for the name of a guild. Jeez. x_x

Hmm, guess your interpruting my post wrong. I'm not getting defensive about it. More than one person has approached me (more than once) to join this guild, and I can understand why people would expect me to be part of it. So, logically, it made sense to state my position on it so people would quit trying to get me to join, and I appologized ahead of time if somebody interpruted what I said as being to harsh.

And there is nothing wrong with that -- wanting to enjoy being part of a gfx guild -- but it does not need to exist soley as a direct result of somebody wanting to copy exactly what was done for another social group in Graal. That causes it to lose some of its appeal, and would not be as highly respected as it should be.

You might love making levels more, but I luv graphics. And some dude loves scripting. And someone loves to bath in hot wax. And some love eating people. ^^

And this discussion is completely weird, silly artists fighting for some "liberty" and script nerds being cranky because they were first.

I doubt that's what he ment, altough it could be understood that way.

I dunno, is it really needed? And it's not like you need a test server for graphics ;O
