Staff Overload
 

OK, I think Shaded Legend is one of the better servers, let me just say that first and that I know I'll probably get flamed for this thread, but I need to get this said...

Is all that staff necessary?
Look, I know they just went public yesterday and yadi yadi yadda, but these are the staff positions i saw online at two different log on times (* means they had RC ^ means they had staff npcs:
Admin *^, GAT Admin*^, NAT Admin*^, NAT*, LAT Admin*^, LAT*^, ET^, ET Chief *^, ET Captain, GP*^, FAQ Admin*^,

Admin-
GAT Admin - legit position, had RC that's alright
NAT Admin - legit position, had RC that's alright
NAT- Fine poistion...don't really need RC I retract the RC statement after using common sense X_x
LAT Admin - legit position, had RC that's alright
LAT- fine position, but if an LAT's work done primarily offline, why are Staff NPC's (quite pointless anyways) needed?
ET, GP, FAQ - Let me just say this: These jobs could be condensed into one primary "Server Staff" job. ET- hold events every hour or so, GP- jail someone every couple of days, FAQ- answer nub questions...why do we need 9 people for a job that can be done by 3?

Look, I know it's not my problem, and that the server is good anyways, but I just thought I should say this because I've seen loads of servers go under because there is too many pointless, unworking staff members with stupid rights like RC and staff NPC's. If this is SL's choice to hire all these people, I can't change that, but I must voice my opinion...Let the flaming begin?

NATs do not need RC? Are you blind? or just ignorant?

NATS and LATS need RC. GP and FAQ should be merged since GP's dont do anything anyways and ET should just get lost and have random staff hold events when they feel like it. You dont need an ET Captain.

Eh,I guess I didn't really think that statement though you're right on that one, the dev jobs in a server do need some form of RC, even if it's the lowest with no rights...I still disagree with giving anyone RC in the GP, FAQ, ET jobs...in fact I don't agree with the exsistance of those jobs

NATs and LATs need RC. GAT, I guess that's debatable, but I normall give RCs to GATs. FAQ, nah. I don't even like FAQs, all staff help anyways =P.

Edit: Anyways, why did you bring this up with Shaded Legend only? Almost every server does this, weirdo.

Sorry, I was at work and didnt realize all the Rcs..i plan to fix this up soon. Plan for now is to only allow LATs and GATs on RC if they need to upload anything, except for the admins
