There was a problem with a part of the network equipment.

Everything was working again after a restart. We'll investigate the reason of the problem to prevent it from happening again.

Yea stefan dropped a schnitzel in his CD drive, that's what i think XD

GoZelda 07-21-2004 01:32 PM

God, the jokes you hear when you get on GK when the server's crashed:
"Stefan must've tripped over the wire again"
"Stefan must've spilled coffee again"
and so on and so on. The first few times it's fun, but afterwards it's a big cliché.

I was about to write just about the same thing.

My theory is a butterfly flapped its wings on the other side of the world, inducing a violent electron change in the network machines at Cyberjouers.

Crono 07-21-2004 05:24 PM

My theory:

Some pig in africa got slaughtered causing a chain reaction of amazment which ended up in france somehow followed by an anti pig killing festival which then resulted in a kid being flung in the air, crashing through the windows of cyberjouers and hitting the router 8]

Monkeyboy_McGee 07-21-2004 07:18 PM

My theory: the french police did a major drug raid on monday night, and, since graal is one of the most powerful drugs out there, all cyberjouer's systems got seized, and stefan and unix got taken in for questioning. They're out on bail right now.

Brad 07-21-2004 08:09 PM

my theory: servers were down

On a further note, the police found around 10-30 victims on Graal's community forum. Some of the Moderators and Super Moderators were taken in for some tests including common sense exams and various pop quizes.

The forum's members have been taken into mental rehability (spelling?) centers and are now being treated with freedom of speech and good leaders.

THEY PROBED ME!

I want compensation for all this torture. First drugs, then probing, its just notfair, it isn't my fault! Graal didn't come with a health warning! X_X

But his sentence didn't start with a capital! Lance must be illiterate

Besides, if the French police raided for drugs, how come only forums and GK were down?

GO isn't that big of a company... There are only a few people in the office in Paris who deal with this kind of thing, and they all have other duties to attend to.

If they got on Graal more often they'd see that some of the playerworlds were down...

Except: it was only one day, a network problem in the datacenter is beyond their immediate control and takes a while to fix, and you're just being a jerk.

Nah it was just one day that i couldn't get on graal. People are making things up, probably from graal deprivatiy XD

XiLe 07-25-2004 06:55 PM

I think that too many people had bean burritos that night and when they released methane gas from their bodies it travelled to France, got into the computer fans, and caused them to shutdown. Then again, it could've been an ordinary computer bug too.
