Yes it is dead, end of story. I talked to kondias and he said it died due to lack of help.

According to the log donald posted that will be deleted any minute now, he said it was "put to sleep." That doesn't mean it's dead. It's on hiatus.

But I still think he's going to stealth-release the server. Koni's crazy like that.

It has been there for a long period and Oasis wasn't dead, it was paused, just like Graal2001.

Even if Oasis dies, no one will forget it. It revolutionized graal.. The impact it had on graal was amazing, considering it hasn't been released.

It revolutionized graal.. ?? How so? like you said it was never released so how much impact can it have? It was hyped up and talked about but that is all it did for Graal just like many other PWs in the making that caused excitement but never came about.

And? that's procisely what I mean, without Oasis you probably wouldn't of had Shifting Ages.

I believe that it was so revolutionary is because of the fact it was one of the first, or the first, playerworlds that used custom GUI menu, new tileset etc. You could say it was the precessor of Graal Kingdoms. Please note that I'm not sure o_o

I don't think so.. But Oasis is quite old, I believe Graal Kingdoms was made before it.. Though they where both made around the same time..

I dont think Oasis has made that much of a difference...

I can't really say that it's overated, but it doesnt suck. Thats for sure.

Don't think so, Konidias started working on Oasis during the Graal2001 times, wich means, long before Graal2002.

Motivation? Are you saying that because of Oasis, Soul-Blade was motivated to make Shifting Ages? Because having talked to SB for awhile, I can safely say that's not the case at all...

EDIT: Well, we're both partly right, I think SB was motivated by oasis, but not because it was revolutionary or anything of that nature...
