Rate/Comment 2 levels

I made both of these from boredom so here they are. One is WIP and the other was originally a little practice level that I decided to "finish". Just eyecandy levels, not ones that you would use on servers. :P

Rate, comment, etc.

Note-I'll be posting updates to the WIP one (you'll see which one it is)

The First One Has Great Cliffs. I could never do that O_O but
9.5/10

The Second one with the big huge dirt, needs some detail. I know its just a start, but its looking very good.
for a half finished level a 8.5/10.

Small update on the WIP one. First time using this house style so yeah, laugh all you want. Updates are clearly visible. :)

Good job, I like the cliffs on the first... But try something like this, with these tiles.

Crono 07-17-2004 09:42 PM

You mean use a dirt to break the first from the second apart a little?

No no no... Look at the seam between the cliffs!

Silver Knight 07-17-2004 10:11 PM

Yeah, there is a special tile for that sort of thing, Crono.
Makes it look nice and spiffy.

I like both levels, but, in the first level, the deep water parts seem kind of blocky.

As for the second, keep us posted, and keep up the good work.

See the attached file.
Those were the ones I saw right away, I think there might be another, not really sure.

Crono 07-17-2004 11:02 PM

Check back again elephant boy ;). I already figured it out! w00t for me.

I'll start sexifying the WIP level tommorow heh

haunter 07-17-2004 11:05 PM

There are still a few tile errors... on the middle slanting cliffs, see that little speck thing that's missing? ;x

haunter 07-17-2004 11:15 PM

Very nice work Crono. Top-Notch. :D

LittleBiiru 07-18-2004 07:03 AM

I don't see anything wrong with it at all. Looks fine to me. =)

JohnnyChimpo 07-24-2004 12:30 AM

Might need to add somthing to get to that house >_< . We cant climb cliffs you know.

But all and all both levels were good execpt for the dark water in the first one thats horrible.

I prefer gerami's original version...that stuff looks like two separate cliffs overlapping each other as if they were pieces of graphic, to me X_x

Eagle 07-26-2004 08:17 AM

Awesome.. Try to connect the town path on the first one (you added to it). I just think it goes along a little better, just an opinion.

Meh, I'm not very pleased with the level. I can't really point my finger to whats wrong, just feels like crap >_>;

haunter 07-26-2004 11:13 PM

I think the water need's a wider mouth to exit the level from, make the body bigger... And I don't really think the house fits all that well. Specifically the windows.

Crono 07-27-2004 12:12 AM

What do you think I should do with the house?

haunter 07-27-2004 01:44 AM

Change the style maybe? It looks too slum-ish to me.

Ducati_Link 08-01-2004 04:15 PM

I agree.. I don't like the house very much. Rest of the level looks great though.
