Golden Ring
I just made this. It's a golden ring =]
((... lmao.. take a few steps back from the screen and it will look good =P)) |
Did you pixel that? :O
|
In a not ms paint program..! It's good, like everything else you make.

When I say Pixel, I mean not 3D Rendered in some program like 3DMax, Bryce or AutoDesk Inventor...
But it's nice. |
Galdor doesn't use 3D software for his pics (insider information) ;D
|
Well it doesn't exactly look "3D" so why did u ask if he pixeled it? It's not really hard to see ;O
|
That is amazing, galdor. You really are a whizz with that painter program. Do you paint irl with like real paint and stuff? If so you should try and scan in / take photos of some of your work, i'd love to see it!
Lol i took steps back and it looks worse than up close, i like it when it's up close; it looks as if it's got water on it, and so its a bit distorted, but glistening, and stuff. :D |
I like the sparkles in it...MY PRECIOUS..

Dude...
I'm not ***... But if I was...I would want you to have my babies. (Don't take that the wrong way. :D) |
http://galdor.vip.graal.net/GFX/galdor-ring2.PNG mini ring =P
|
Don't get me wrong, that is a million-bizzzzillion times better then anything I could make, but I found something I didn't like.
On the upper lip of the ring, just below the chain...it looks weird and doesn't match. |
mmk.. i'll fix that later

Making a new ring =] i will add some cool text on the ring later when im done with the coloring. |
Funky .
|
I like the old one better. But still a good job...
|
i hope you will like it better when im done.
|
The Galdor strikes again with yet another fine piece of art.
The first one is amazing, the coloring on it is great, I really like the use of light and shadow on the various parts. As for the second one, hurry up and finish! |

i dont like the style of the coloring so much =/ i hope the final version will be good. |
Preeeeetty. :) *touches*
|
It is amazing, even in its unfinished stage. The front has that feel of rough bronze/brass to it...or something like that, gah, i can't explain.

That blacksmith must've used a REALLY tiny hammer to hammer that ring into shape o.o

They do? I thought they used molds and poured the heated metal into it.. sort of like with those military figures. Fascinating still.
|
Yeah, I thought they used molds too.
|
Amazing! Very leet.

made another ring :whatever: (drawn with free-hand. so it looks kinda deformed >_< ) |
Nice, Galdor.
|
I like how you did the reflection. ;)
|
Very very nice , Galdor. The reflection really adds to the quality, as Sky said.
|
My brother used a mold when he made his ring....
er... anyway... WOW This is an old thread? who revived it o_o |

wtfh?! i had made a ring and i didnt want to make a new thread so i used my old "golden ring" thread (found it in page 5.. so it wasnt that old =P)
|
Kinda looks like it has a lip..
That's awesome though, if you glance at it or see it from a slight distance it looks like a real picture. yeah, there is this nice little feature that VB has, if you look at the upper left of a post, you can see the date which it was posted |

The thread, if you compare the post dates, was revived by Galdor himself to post his newest ring. It's nice, Galdor. I like the way the grain of the wood overlaps the reflection, but you have yet to see my skills... (; |
