I'm the owner and manager of The Fox's Den Item Shop located on Samurai Island below the ferry docks.

I have noticed that when I open my shop door, I will return to it 5 minutes later only to find it has slammed shut! I will reopen it only to have the same problem soon after!
I have heard that other shopkeepers also have been experiencing this problem!

I have also heard, directly from Empress Nayoko, that her house door has had the same problem, only it OPENS soon after being shut!
She was forced to put all her valuables to the back and place statues and other barricades in the front to prevent theft!

Who else has had this problem!?

My shop door closed often.

All house doors will close if the NPC Server goes down
well, actually, they close when it goes back up
It might be spazzing out and doing quick little self reboots
that would cause the door to close

Also, the house doors and mailboxes are being duplicated for some strange reason. Main island has even acquired some mailboxes and doors in the middle of nowhere

Yeah i remember going to pirates a while ago to look for an npc escort, and on the south coast i found at least like 20 doors and mailboxes sitting on the beach and in the water, withuot houses, and i was like "WTF IS ALL THIS CRAP?!"
They even had accountnames to them, as well o_o

Yes, they close about every 15 minutes. I see people sell their market stands because it's very annoying.

Sorry to bump this topic back up to the new stuff, but it's happening to me too.

The doors and leftover mailboxes are also a tremendous problem. (And they're even all over main!) If anyone could fix this, I'd be very grateful.
