I'm sick of seeing Graal2001 inactive all the time, I've wanted it to come back for SOOOOO long.. If noone is going to do anything with it give it to me, I can bring it back ;/

Seriously, everyone says that they could revive 2k1- ask anyone who's seen the development side, and they'll tell you it's not easy. 2K1's appeal comes from a playerbase- first you have to reaquire that playerbase. If you don't do enough for them, they leave out of boredom. If you do too much and change the basic fundamentals of the server, they leave because it's no longer what they want. It's a very fine balance, and the amount of work that goes into anything you make for 2k1 is quite substantial as well. Ask Shadowless if it's easy to make an entire kingdom by yourself. 2K1 is a very precarious server, because it's very easy to ruin, and very easy to make great.

Lance, what do you plan on doing with it?

Insulting your playerbase is not a very good idea, considering the horrible shape 2k1 is already in.

I could revive it- if I had the help of 100 people (10 [b]dedicated[b] level people,scripters,graphics people, gani people...[that's 10 for each group] and 50 people to be active players...and the development team has to be the BEST at what they do) at my disposal. :asleep:

He doesn't have to represent in a good manner, especially if he's recieving now benefits. Obviously if you were more fit for the job, and could represent yourself in such a manner that you would take invalid critisism, then you would have been manager. Right? The basic idea of it is that everyone thinks Lance is basically wasting the server, and that anyone and or their ninty three year old neighbour could do a better job, not knowing how difficult a task it is...I think. That's just from memory

The fact that the server has been hidden from the list, no new news has been posted, and that the game is exactly the same, means that either he isn't working on it, or is working on it but nowhere near fast enough. He admitted that he doesn't have the staff, but I don't see how hard it is to have signups. :rolleyes:

I miss graal 2001 as well...but it was quoted and says it is comming. School is still a big issue no matter where you are. Lance has sense because he made it clear school should come first. Not exactly what he said but yea. Just let schools get out and Graal2001 will come back because people will have time again. I hope it all goes well.
