Worlds Thread
 

Hello Everyone,

I'm writing this new thread to inform you about a server called "Worlds".
Since my old server Nihil failed I started Worlds.

Information about Worlds:
Worlds is a role-playing server with a Level-up system.
Worlds doesnt know the regular "Graal Hearts" It only knows hp.
Your hp can grow by getting experience, these you will get by doing quests/missions.

Here is a preview of the Worlds story (still under contructions):
"If the legends are right, your apprentice can bring the peace back.
Your young apprentice is ready for his first assigment.
Some old jedi are trying to set up plans to take control over serveral planets.
Your young apprentice will be send to a planet called Worlds.
He will be in charge of the security there."

As you can read you are a jedi who is still a young student.
You are getting your first assigment, but your mentor does not agree with it.
Still your getting it.

I post this to inform everyone about this server, but also to try to get some people who want to help ous.
At the moment we are hiring:
Tilers, Scripters, Graphics Artists.

At this moment the staff list looks like this:
Owner/Manager: wuzel
Staff Manager: Galdor
Scripting Team: osrs, Nerv, Ningnong
LAT: -
Graphics Team:-

As you can see, not many people in the staff but that is my fault to becuase I want a small amount of staff.
The staff manager Galdor is helping ous trying to get more people in the staff and if the people are inactive he will talk to them and get them back to work.
We need the best skilled people, like every server does.

You got Osrs to say he'd be your staff? Are you sure Nerv will have time, when he was on n-pulse, he didn't log on for months... You got Ningnong to come back to graal? (last I knew he had quit) Isn't Daldor a GGT member? I thought global staff couldn't work on PW's...

also, where have I seen that map before?

- osrs isn't really in the scripting team, he is making the main scripts.
- Thats right, nerv didn't log on for a time but he is back.
- I talked to ningnong 1-2 days ago and he wanted to join the team.

Oh yeah the map, TB3 showed it on the forums but he made it for Worlds. ^^

Osrs isn't apart of the team, and never will I'm assuming..
Galdor, can work on servers, Angel can so i'm assuming most can.
Ningnong, he will script for anyone :)

Sounds good, but looks like you didn't put any thought to the overworld at all. Its the same thing in the whole map. Trees, paths = North, Water = South. But, you are in the early stages of the server. so, good luck though.

Well, like you say we are still under construction ;).

Since there is a Copyright on starwars we can not use Jedi's for the server so I quess I have to change the Jedi to a other name.
These name I got in my thought now:
Tysche Knights
Tsuka Knights

What do you think of them, wich would be the best or have you got better ideas?

You are a Tsuka knight who has just finished his training with his master.
The council of serveral planets has given you your first assigment.
You will be in charge of the security on a planet called Worlds.
You are getting this assigment becuase old Tsuka knights wanted to take control on serveral
planets, the council of these planets decided to send Tsuka knights to these planets for
security, you are one of these Tsuka knights.

Tsuka knights are very skilled knights.
There weapon is the lightsaber, the lightsaber can only be controled with high skills.
This is why only people with a pure heart will be trained as Tsuka knight.
But there is still a risk to train people, when they are a Tsuka knight they have enormous
strength in themself.
They can abuse this strength, and that is what the old Tsuka knights did who are now trying
to take control on serveral planets.

For what, what did I do wrong?
I didn't write/planned anything thats against the rules?!

Though the map may be in its early stages, it seems boring (and small :[). How many levels wide by levels high is it (just tell me the last part of the last filename like a-12)? It just seems like there isn't going to be a lot of space to add in good sized towns and/or significant locations. The map itself looks about the size of one kingdom or a kingdom and a half. Hard for me to tell without knowing the map's level dimensions.

Yay go me. XD!

Server has some potential and with just the right staff it could be a decent one. Not a wonder but not crap like 90% of the rest of them. Right now it's..very empty but soon things will change I guess. I'm only in this project for fun anywho so yeah. There are some good ideas planned for the server :O

I hope we will be good!

What did I use from Lucas Art, totally nothing.
Please everyone read carefully, Worlds has got nothing, tottaly nothing from lucasart.
I changed the name Lightsabers into Photonblades so now we got nothing from Lucasart.

So what are you substituting Star Wars' 'the Force' with? I mean, you got everything else down. >.>

There is no such thing as "The Force", and I got the Tsuka Knight idea from starwars only I changed the name so I don't see the problem.

Angel can do many things others can't do.

I just hope the server will end up having some neat fighting npcs so you can just have some fun fighting rather than flirting with .png's and checking out levels ^_^

The big problem is Crono that people think this server will be a copy and star wars related server.
People, let me tell you that its absolutly NOT.
The server is more medieval/fantasy then futuristic.

The Story has been eddited, so people can see its not related and not a copy of star wars.

Tsuka Knights, who doesn't know them.
Most people in the Shine-Galaxy do know them.
Tsuka Knights are the defenders of the Shine-Galaxy.

The Tsuka knights are very skilled sword fighters.
They fight with a Photon Blade, it is a extremly powerfull blade.
Most of their assignments are for security on planets in the Shine-Galaxy.

You are in the role of a Tsuka Knight.
A Tsuka Knight named Kai is trying to get control in the Shine-Galaxy.
This was the reason for The Shine-Galaxy Council to send Tsuka Knights
to serveral planets, there assignment is "Bring the security back".

The most important planet in the Shine-Galaxy is Worlds.
Worlds is the most central planet of all in the Shine-Galaxy.
This is why most intruders try to get control on Worlds first.
Badly for them, this always fail becuase of the Tsuka Knights.

You will be sent to Worlds, you will be in lead of the security there.
Be aware, this time it might be not easy to stop them from taking control
in the Shine-Galaxy.

There hasn't been much updates arround Worlds anymore lately.
The only updates that are being made is the Story Line, wich is very important now.
Worlds is hiring, we need tiler and scripters.
If you want to help ous, please.
We could really need some help.

Now my question to all the Playerworld players, what would you like to see on worlds?, what do you want to change?, whats good and not good about worlds?

Worlds will no longer be a space server =O. We will be a rp server, we decided that we won't use a story line. Many things have changed in the plans, including new monster and a great amount of new items (including the Photon Blade lvl1/2).
