Problems with trading tables

There are a few problems with trading tables:
1) If you put your items on the trading table and you log off and and dont take your items back, then when the time expires the items dont go back in your inventory but simply dissapear, i wasent that happy when i had a power failure and lost something (i dont remember what anymore XD).
2) If a person takes a side, if that person leaves the side should be cleared, or if that person dosent put anything on the table the time befor ti clears should be shorter, this will reduce lack of tables.
3) Pets shouldent be allowed to be left in the tradehouses, there isnt much room as it is and all they do is get in the way and spread idiotic messages of immature players (the names of the pets).
4) Sometimes when you cancel a trade your item stayes on the table and everyone can take it, im not sure how this happens but it should be fixed.
5) Theres some bug when alot of gfx dissapear, the tables move somewhere real high in the trade, theres no items or ladders inside boats, no tables inside shops, etc. Its not something bad, but it still should be fixed.

I was thinking the other day what it'd be like if the table house got enlarged to, say, 6-7 tables, with a big space in the middle or something. That way it'd be more like an indoor marketplace or something rather than just three tables with everyone humping them. Also the PKers would be a tad less concentrated

Edit: Oh also, there should be tables and chairs and stuff in reasonable spaces, so that people might one day be able to roleplay there..sigh, some day =/

maybe add a few market stands? so that those who simply want to sell for money dont use up all the trade tables

Re: Problems with trading tables

My proposed fix was to move the items that would otherwise disappear or be left for anyone to take to a special level from where staff could later return it, and I was about to script it, but Stefan said he would rather do some mudlib magic to be able to add something to someone's inventory even when they are offline.

maby add an outdoor market somewhere near bomboria, and maby make the trading house span a few floors/rooms. Just making one huge level in a tiny building doesn't seem to fit.

And yes, something has to be done about pets... half the names are stupid and immature as said above.

More tables would be nice, it would be easier to offer, and more people would be able to trade, leave, and get on with their graal life :D

you took the words right out of my mouth. I agree they need market stands at least somewhere on main that you can rent by the hour. They got them on other islands but its not like they will ever be used.

I also like the thought of having more levels in the trade center, but i think they need to inlarge the room we already have as well.

Of coarse none of this would be a problem if we were able to warp to other towns on main so all the trade houses would get used, they are next to useless the way things are now. :\

As far as all the things Bloody-Sword mentioned, they all need fixed, seeing as they often ruin a players a game.
