Well i was wondering if maybe some kind of signpost item could be added. It would maybe take a scroll(the empty ones) and two boards, after that you could write something on it and it could be read same way as a letter, only difrence is that it can't be picked up after it has been placed, maybe you would need some kind of "sign hammer" like the forteforcations hammer? The sign should be destroy able i guess,
but it would be nice to be able to place a sign outside your shop, or if some one made a large fort they could name it with a sign outside so would people know what is was. I'm pretty sure people could find other uses too...

Anyways off-topic i think that the market stands to use inside your house should have their roof removed..!(I didn't want to make a hole new thread for that ;))

Ever heard of marking rune?
It's a spell that creates a sign, and it doesn't work. You can create the sign (or at least i think you still can) and its a bigass bloody wooden posterboard that gets in everyone's way and causes nothing but bother if you cast them in the ocean.
But you can't write on them, or anything. Making a little signpost around the size of the posts on classic graal tiles would be rather cool though :D

Marking runes are a bit too, well, large for proper signs I believe. It would be nice though to have them fixed.

As for market stands, the roofs aren't really necessary indoors but a nice touch, I think ;)

Marking rune is wierd, it's broken also, and people without magic should be able to set up signs too ;( But i'm think of some kind of 2 x 2 tiles sign like the ones you can pick up on the original tileset.

Well I was wondering why there are 2 house markers on the shelves in every kingdom. It's not like its going to be crouded with people buying signs. It would be cool if they took one of those out of each shop and put signs we can actually post in there, but postable signs won't really work out well. You could make them so you could put them up and no one else could move them, then have them fall down after so long, but you know one of those really stupid people is going to come along and put hundrends of them on each island, until the server crashes. And if you have it where they can be chopped down, that same stupid player is gonna chop up your signs.

There is no real way to win. :grrr:

just make build flags able to be made into signs as well as houses, and that sign would decay over time, and simply be fixed with a board for +5% consituation, and 100 max consituation, also make them die 5 times as fast as a house (-5% consituation per day) and that should work ^_^

then all you need is to make the sign able to hold a scroll (for the text) and you simply write on the scroll, then you put it in the sign and right clicking it makes you read it, then you just gotta make only the owner of the sign able to open the sign and take/change the scroll, or make some kinda "Sign Key" or somthing like that for opening the sign ^_^
