Playerworld Filenames

Filenames:
Two things really. A lot of files are being called the same name, but totally different. For example a custom bomb is being called “bomb.gif” by a lot of playerworlds.

So please can you try and, if the file is different, call it something like:
Playerworld_filename (e.g. un_bomb.gif)

Maps:
The same applies with maps. Please do not call your map BIGMAP.TXT as this is classics (Graal The Adventures) so do the same as the filenames:

Playerworld_bigmap.txt (e.g. un_bigmap.txt)

Thank you.

This applies to ganis also. Name your custom walk, idle, etc. ganis playerworld_gani.gani

I'd love to see this built into the gserver as many other peeople have already suggested. :)

Re-name all of your servers for caution, I would.. ;)

It overwrites the one in your webgifs, so it isn't really stupid..

Everytime you log on a playerworld it downloads the playerworld files. So if they have the setmap in System it shouldnt mess up at all,and images download when you walk in the level so i dont see how this messes up other playerworlds.

For sake of argument we realy need something like said times and times before

- Option to specify where folders from your playerworld are stored on the clients computer. I like to be organized anyway and I'm just assuming that people would like images from different servers in different folders rather than 8,000 files in one folder. This would also help servers keep their work seperate from what most people would just grab and use. I dont know about you but i use fire.gif , torchbase.gif, arcaneaura.gif, vines1 and 2.png, I dont know who made them but no one realy specified that they couldnt be used by putting any names on them like tb_vines or g2k2_torch.png. However I put these graphix in my image folder on the ftp and the images specificaly made for and by fear in a seperate image folder. Specifying a client storage space might help reduce graphic swiping and similar problems. It could be maybe in folder options?
cfolder <client folder for files to be saved to here> <server folder from which files are downloaded from here>

I hope someone considers this as a solution to part of the problem.

Wrong.
It only downloads the file if you see it in game, and also only if the copy on the server is more recent than the one on your HD.

they save over other files, causing unessecary lag and file problems, if I log onto playerworlda and download their bomb.png which happens to be 48x48 sprited image, then go on playerworldb who has a bomb.png that is 32x32 sprited image that is older than playerworlda's I see messed up sprited from playerworlda on playerworldb
