Uhn, why don't oekakki (murdered the spelling there) boards never work for me!? Is there a certain plug-in needed?

Do you have Java installed? Like, not the crappy version standard with windows, but the actual JRE from Sun?
Most Oekaki boards are Java, so you'll need it.

Go to where it says "32-bit/64-bit for Windows/Linux/Solaris SPARC" and under the JRE column, click "Download"
