My ideal RC would allow the person to connect for a second before their rights initialized, and then if their IP is different d/c them. That way you can check IPs and stuff easily and figure out if the guy's security is compromised.

No... The ideal RC would contain a retina scanner...

And an expresso machine... But hey, like that's ever going to happen.

I would like a shell and some command line tools for editing things, and talking to the servers.

My ideal RC is one that has a better GUI and a better file manager. Oh yea and. Chat Tabs that can be set in server ops. (come in handy for meetings or for each team.)

IRC or Jabber are your friends...

You could make a tab that doesn't have chat and only RC/NC messages. Or a tab with only NC or only RC messages
And a tab that is only Chat =o (Except some important messages would still be sent to this tab probably)

Most people who play graal don't have that great of computers and don't want to have alot of programs open at once like:

Graal Editor
RC
AIM
IRC
Internet Explorer
Virus Checker Software

That is to name a few things ;P
