Ultimatly it won't make a bit of diffrence, but I'd like to find out. Which size do you think looks better?

Upper ones. The bottom ones' heads are too small.

And the second head is a bit ugly, imo, would look better if the face was more like the first one.

Definatley Bottom ones, since the top ones look bigger than your average sprite for RPG/Adventure Game tHeme. But please, correct me if I am wrong in thinking this is for an RPG/Adventure game

bottom ones

The bottom one for the blonde-haired guy, the top one for the black-haried guy. Although i have to say that the blackhaired guy doesn't fit the body well at all. They are just so dissimilar.

I think the black haired guy looks kind of dark and evil, so if you gave him dark-almost-black armour, then it would look cool. Oooh Oooh, Dont foget the evil symbols too
