Mech! Check this puppy out, did a week ago in ten minutes on MS paint.

Destorm 03-25-2004 07:44 PM

ms paint, omg you so good now...

erm nice scrible?

haunter 03-25-2004 10:49 PM

Cool sketch... What's it supposed to be though? It's just a set of robot legs... there are no arms/sensors/weapons or anything :O

Wow, I've never been so tempted to commit man slaughter.

It's a robot, three legs, which connect to the body with hydraulic arms, aswell as another set of arms. The "sensors" are inside I suppose.

MAN SLAUGHTER.

MarkB 03-26-2004 12:29 AM

Nice work. :]

R0bin 03-26-2004 12:29 AM

amazingly leet.

WanDaMan 03-26-2004 12:31 AM

Wow it's good for paint, it look's like it's breen drawn by hand.. :)(which is a good thing).

R0bin 03-26-2004 12:36 AM

perhaps a tablet

Goboom 03-26-2004 12:51 AM

I am oh, so tempted to color this peice. :D

ZER0_H0UR 03-26-2004 01:20 AM

I drew it with my mouse. And I would be like "OMS LEET" if you colored it.

alarid0 03-26-2004 01:21 AM

lol I thought you said you wern't completly happy with it XD the middle piece

ZER0_H0UR 03-26-2004 01:40 AM

Ohh well yea, as I said to you, there's no actual room for the hydraulic equipment inside, but it's as I said, it's only a drawing.

Sounds like we have a rocket scientist in the room. Nice work. :)

Kirble 03-27-2004 02:37 PM

Yes, this is very nice for paint, I bet it would look awesome once coloured (excuse me, I am British)

Myomoto 03-27-2004 02:58 PM

Loots neat, it looks like a hand drawn working sketch! :O

Monkeyboy_McGee 03-27-2004 03:22 PM

Heh, it's sweet. I can't draw stuff like that with my tablet, because when i draw on paper i usually turn the paper at weird angles to draw. That just doesn't work with a tablet because, well, you'd have to turn your monitor like that too X_X
If im drawin' stuff like that on PC i usually draw by hand, scan in, then go over with a mouse in PSP (because of the layering you can use to avoid screwing up the original image).

Lol why should us brits have to apologise for their refusal to use the letter u? ;)

Kirble 03-28-2004 12:43 AM

Well, I think Photoshop would be good for the job of colouring like so. Though, #I dont know, I just cannot get the hang of PSP. Layering on Photoshop is so easy. and the options are easier to get too, but heck, I might be because I have always used Photoshop lol

Unfortunatley, I cannot draw at all with pen and paper, though, I did draw Trevor McDonald, which was pretty good

Because some dumb americans start having spasms on why I use a "u" in "colour".

I resent that remark as i am a "Stupid American"as you so called said.

haunter 03-28-2004 04:12 AM

I dont think he meant that in the sense that all americans are dumb. He said, some of the dumb ones bother him over using the letter "u" in the word "colour".

Anyway, yeah, colour it... Hmm... I wonder what kind of style though... Because the drawing is sort of scribbly, try not staying inside the lines. If you know what I mean... 0.o;

Crono 03-28-2004 11:28 AM

Looks good.

Kirble 03-28-2004 01:10 PM

MD, I was referring to all Americans, plus if I did call you a stupid american over your amazingly high typo count, then I was only joking :) Though if you really are stupid, then you are the first stupid person who hasnt spammed me saying, "u carnt spel!"

[EDIT]
I was thinking really dark colors would look nice on it, and the industrial kinda look that I imagined, such as rust streaks, and such... :]

add some more detail to it maybe make it bigger it looks like something you did in 30 seconds. You can draw with speed in mspaint its one of the most easy programs to use and when used right it can top all those fancy gizmos, textures, gradients, and blend tools. Heres my latest thing in mspaint it took me 3 minutes like yours its a simple sketch but I think it turned out pretty good in my opinion.

ZER0_H0UR 03-29-2004 12:55 AM

I didn't sketch it for quality (which you can see clearily hehe) I sketched it to practice my... damnit, I forget the word.. you know.. like to show depth, and to have it look 3D.. funking words.

TonyRivers 03-29-2004 04:56 AM

you mean perspective?

ZER0_H0UR 03-29-2004 03:33 PM

YES!!!

Thanks :]

Haha neat!

Desolator12 04-05-2004 10:46 PM

Nice design there... put another leg on the front though... it'd be neat... the spider could jump on people and start stabbing the life out of them...

wait.... why does it say "Zero Hour" at the bottom?

ZER0_H0UR 04-19-2004 12:11 AM

Sorry for reviving a dead thread, not only a dead thread but my dead thread - but, I want to know if anyone would color this for me, And I don't mean dropping it into paint and doing your best to make each face have a nice little color... I mean a real coloring. I would probabley do it myself, but! I suck at coloring, and I don't have the patience...

So I would really appriciate if someone would color it :D

haunter 04-19-2004 12:42 AM

Sounds like fun, ill give it a shot.

I doubt you'll like it though XD

ZER0_H0UR 04-19-2004 01:00 AM

If it's as good as your Isometric stuff was, I'm sure I will :)

haunter 04-19-2004 01:35 AM

Well... I tried my best... I hope you like it, and I hope you dont mind I put my name under yours with a little shaded ball to show I coloured it :-x

Here goes nothing... *posts picture then dives into bombshelter*

ZER0_H0UR 04-19-2004 01:37 AM

That_kicks_ass.

I like it, it's kinda Ghetto spray-painty...

But more would be nice, aswell hehe..

Dude6252000 04-19-2004 02:42 AM

I can't even sketch, nor color, that good in real life. :O

Nitkizi 04-19-2004 03:09 AM

Nice job on the coloring. A 2d RPG drawn with sketchy artwork like that would be awesome. Maybe not, I'm just a fan of that style..
