I reply to about 2 a week after they PM me but their inbox is full, its stupid as I can't reply!
So lets all have a spring clean:

Step One: *Delete Old Messages From Inbox*

Step Two: *Remove Old Sent Items*

Step Three:*If They Have Recieved It Delete It*

Step Four: PM me again if you didn't have a reply http://forums.graal2001.com/forums/images/sendpm.gif

Step Five: Repeat this process every so many weeks

She uses images like that in newsletters and would phrase something like "so lets all have a spring clean."

I dont see why each user is limited to 70 messages... If there is enough space to host all the posts on this board there should be enough room for pms.

Yeah we pay like $40 a year for this forum the least they could do is give us unlimited space for pms...

Unlimited space? LOL, no. It costs money.

The default is 40, maybe less... 70 is the insane limit I gave it a couple years back. If you talk to that many people use an IM client or something. I'm not going to up the max for those of you who don't use AIM, Y!, MSN, ICQ, etc.

If thats not the case and you all are just relying on Graal Online to store years worth of PMs for you, then you better think again. These forums are not an email service. Someday I might purge old PMs and then you'll be up a creek. Do us all a favor and store copies on your own computer so you don't max your quota.

In-game PMs are stored on your own computer so they don't drown the game servers. If I let you all have unlimited PMs, sooner or later the forum server will run out of space.

See, the thing is alot of the time the PMs are not shown after ~30 days by default. After this time they dont really show up and by just glancing you dont even notice you have old PMs in your inbox.

Like they say, "Out of sight, out of mind."

I totally agree with that. I took a look at everyone's PM counts and had a good laugh when I saw Stefan's. He has more than 2 thousand PMs (forum admins don't have a limit). I'd wager he's only need a handful of those.
