nice first try

syltburk 02-10-2004 06:15 PM

I think you should make it gray-white or black-white

LOL nice! Would be fun to see someone with that sword running around on GK :D

Darlene159 02-10-2004 06:38 PM

blue one is really nice too...guess it does need to be made smaller though

Well yea....I didn't really make it for Graal though. If i make it smaller it will most likely be on my PW!:)

Try changing the outline color to a darker version of the color is surounds, like the blade would have a very dark gray out line and the the handle a dark-blue/pink/red outline, also you outline seems a bit "jagged and edge" ;O Nice for a first try.

Monkeyboy_McGee 02-10-2004 07:22 PM

I don't like it...it seems too much like a ripoff of the uh, wossname sword from Zelda, Ocarina of Time, the handle in particular. This is emphasised when its blue, too X_X

WanDaMan 02-10-2004 07:40 PM

Blue dosn't appeal to me more than the red, looks good though :)

Scott 02-10-2004 09:22 PM

Doesn't seem to have much depth for a sword, but great work for a first graphic.

I agree with Scott. Search google for pixel shading techneques, you will find some intresting results.

Thanks for Tips and comments..I'll see what I will do, but I think I will stick with scripting for now, but, hey, who knows?

omifswthellomg sexist!

XD

Anyway, I like it, but the little fan dealies on either side of the handle look pretty flimsy... Those are supposed to protect the hand from being sliced off when you clash sword with someone else...
