NC: Right-Click Download
 

Not sure if this has been suggested yet but the right-click download thing is great on RC. Can you make this for NC too? Its very annoying and tedious that if i want to back up things in NC to always cut and paste the scripts into a text document. This would be a great thing to use and would make backing up things easier.

Even better would be the ability to back up everything at once rather than having to right click each weapon/class/NPC.

Yes, this would certainly be ideal. Having weapons and database NPCs saving to a folder would be great too (like classes).

This is done with accounts, it may be done with server content too, I'm not quite sure.

It is but not done daily or even weekly so I would not rely on Graal for the server backups because they are very unlikely if ever current. Graal also only backs up the database NPCs and not the weapons on a server so if they are deleted and you have no backups they are just history.

also, in windows "/"' 's cant be added so maybe when it is downloaded it can be like this

-System/Commands
maybe it could become like
-System(bslash)Commands.txt or something in that manner, also the ablillity to upload a bunch of weapons at once would b enice too..but then again you wouldnt be able to set the image probably but oh well XD

I think they need to make it so that all files auto back up into something in FTP (the thing that only the owner has). This would allow alot more security :\

We re-suggested this to Stefan a few weeks ago on Era RC. He said he would talk to Unixmad about it, maybe it slipped his mind. :o

I support this too. I have wanted this for a while as it is so hard for NC to be backed up, well not hard but time consuming currently for managers/staff.

I support this idea 100%!! I don't think a backup to GO server pc would be good, but a backup on the staffs computer would be nice!
