Grrrr
Ok.
How does this STUPID failing system work? I just spent 4k on a frigging summon avatar and failed it, and now I have to start from scratch to get it again. I have 17 int. I have level 10 wisdom. I should be able to learn it. I just don't get this stupid thing, and it really pisses me off that I spent so much time just to fail it. I really would like to not fail again. So how does it work? |
When I learn something, I usually take off EVERYTHING except the items which help me learn it.
IE: Rabbit Tooth Charm, Lucky Boots, Short Skull Sword of Lythander (all three give luck+1), and both of my int+2 rings. That's all. Nothing else. May not do anything, but that's just the way I do it. It also helps if you have a reasonably high mental level, and a high wisdom/magic level. |
The learning of summon avatar is wisdom based. With 10 wisdom, you have about a 10/20 chance of learning it ;)

Learning also depends on your mental level. Luck also helps, and I heard rumors about armour lowering your chances, too.
I failed Avatar 3 times - always with 2 wis+2-rings, rabbit charm (once when they had luck+15), lucky boots... x_x |

Mental = for casting the spells, not for learning them Armour = usually bungles, so it could be true. |

Let's hope it doesn't come to that. |
