Blessing protective items...?
I'm not sure about this idea, it could make items even more amazing than they are already, but it's worth a try...
Maybe we could bless shields/protective items to gods, ie horned shield of ogma would give poison resistance etc Only about +5 or +10 to keep it reasonably un-leet Might not work, because theres not much for balor or bile to have, since balor gives fear resist+100 and bile gives lots of things +100 (i think) Thoughts?:\ |

No.
-- Blessing is already Unreasonably Unbalanced, and enchant armour also, so getting that extra 5 is just screwing up the game. |
I was thinking....what if it could either be enchanted OR blessed, not both? The blessing would be as good as an enchantment (not in ac, but other stats)

Then why not use pearls for shields, rubies for armour and emeralds for boots? They're rather pointless as it is now, anyway.
There has been a suggestion a while back, to have a kind of armour workbench, where you could use a scroll and a number of different gems to add a certain amount of resistance to a piece of armour - say, 10 rubies for +5 fire. The number of possible improvements should either raise with the opverall or the mental level, I'd say... |
Nice suggestions, they all sounds quite good but...don't you reckon we have enough item things as it is? I mean, first shouldn't we be wanting the last of the current items to be finished (talking about relics, mostly) and then concentrate more on the Roleplay in Roleplaying Game? =X

Besides, to my knowledge there are quite a few things on the workbench already, waiting to get finished, so let's wait for them - and 3.1. |
