Gmap

Well, I'm not very familiar with the GMAPs but anyways my problem is that I can only see others when they start in the level I am in but, when they leave and come back I cant see them nor can they see me. NPCs or graphics put into the levels dont show either. When I look in my profile it shows me on the normal levels. When I look on the RC playerlist in shows me on the gmap which I dont want. I want to play on the normal levels not the gmap. I have the gmap under server options also in the levels folder is that neccessary? Or do I even need it at all? These are levels which I generated. :o

I had a similar problem with my server at one point, I cant quite remember what I did to fix it, but try updating the gmap when nobody is in any of the levels associated with it, with the rc, like /updatelevel blah.gmap, or restart the gserver, maybe... o.0

gmaps=map1.gmap,map2.gmap

etc, in serveroptions, dunno if you have them there already, but that should help

Dont put the .gmap extension in the serveroptions.

gmaps=map1.gmap,map2.gmap
should be:
gmaps=map1,map2

If you are adding a gmap then you need to first upload the gmaps, add the gmap=name line to the serveroptions, when that is done you can also upload the the sublevels. Make sure that the gmap is seen by the server, do /find name.gmap to see if its seen, otherwise edit the folder config.
If you have added the sublevels before the gmap then you possibly need to restart the gserver because they are still in the cache.
