New Years Gifts: Your thoughts
 

So, guys, what did you think of the new years gifts?

I personally thought they were all great, except for that the skiis were, well, completely useless o_o

the animation of the thundersword is not really good boy i would love to improve that one but other than that i tought they were all great!

I like the hats, the ring and the swords (even though I can't say I like the thunder's animation). I didn't see the point in the skiis - are they any better than those you can craft? And will they be usable on green grass, which I hope we get back in spring? ;)

The swords should have only been event and the hats were good, but the ski's sucked. The ring was good too for ****s.

I wanted to vote "the ring is seckz" because I made it but that isn't there ;p Hehe, let's see...

Problems:
1)Animation on thunder sword needs to be changed.
2)Ring should be attuned:cold.

atleast then it would have some slight use ;o

Emm... new years gifts? o.O

The ring does have a use.
For new players, it's almost a godsend. It's better than a Speed +2 ring, but not nearly as hard to get.
Older players that don't want the ring, can go for the swords or the hats. And if they don't want those, that's where the skis come in.
I think it was well done.

The helmets are made inferior by just about every other helmet in the game -_- Well, witch hat is fine...just the other one.

the newyears hat is cool too.
It could only have ac+2.
Crussader has no special stat and is only good cuz it looks cool x.x

Where do I get these present things.

Event island thing. Go west of bomboria and then go north along the shore line. You should see the weird thing somewhere there.

Yeah sorry about not adding in an option for the ring, i forgot about that and realised it too late :(

And yeah, the ring is like amazing for a lot of players because it means they don't have to pay like <amazingly high amount> for a rof or rot to get some speed up (especially since the icey ring is faster than the rof). Plus it looks neato too :D

Skiis were the only thing worth it. I am glad I finally have a pair of skiis that match my outfit perfectly! :cool: I love matching.

I'm glad people liked my stats and Chris' graphic editing. :)

So do I, but skis? Okay, they may be fun evers now and then, but I've never seen a slope where you were faster than per pedes... if there was a mountain slope for ski jumping or something... (and there's no green one... ;) )

Personaly I've always been against the concept of "flaming ice" weapons.... or at least making hundreds of them all over the game.... but I guess if you run out of ideas what else can you do?

The skii's... it would have been nice if there were a few more colors available.

The hats... erm... crusader excluded were pretty ugly

omi DX is even more sexz now. How does he do it!?!?

I got the kool swords and this purpil thing..
