To many people are too strong on Kingdoms, the New people on graal can't just get event items they are way to expensive to get with plats.
Esspecially the Europ TimeZone is suffering under it.
The Europ TimeZone barely have Events(Masters).
The only one I know is Satrek. He does some events sometime but he doesn't have Event Items. Mark got all...

Advice for New People On Graal:
Get 400 diamonds.. And trade them for a Event Item.

It takes awile, you have to work for all the things you want, thats what everybody else did. I worked hard to get an FID and Gauntlets of Sorig and it took awile. All this in 3 months.

When new stuff comes out, the poor hardly get a chance to get it, whereas the rich can trade all their good items for it.
Satrek's events are basically the only ones where new players can get event weapons/items, since most of them are collecting stuff/quizes, not spar tournaments where the good players can "pwn" them all.

Yes and the people who are on because of gold / VIP why should they get it?. No offence towards anyone but do you honestly think they will upgrade after they have had this free time on Graal Kingdoms?. They get good weapons and never return - Cool a new weapon to be lost in the shadows.:p

Uh...Are you referring to VIPs being able to come onto Kingdoms every Saturday or something? And the recent "Let everyone who's ever upgraded play as a new year present" thing?

By new people, I mean new, serious players who are trying to start out and get some good items.

I try to hold my events so that strength can't win them - even if some disagree, I believe there are enough strength-related events already.

As for event coins, I don't want to see them as the sole prize of events - they're rather faceless, and I find it hard to think of some excuse for them - unlike icedaggers (breadknives) and breakfast plates (shield of frost). A healthy mixture would be what I recommend.

As for strong players... there will always be an 'elite' - it's in the nature of the thing. Strong people get stronger, if only because they can obtain diamonds faster. That'll never really change. Besides, if you play for fun and rping, strength is secondary in some ways.

You are correct, it is very tough for new players to get ahead. Further, if you are only a casual Kingdoms player, you CAN'T get ahead. It takes many hours down in the dungeons, collecting maps and diamonds, to even get a start. Raffles are simple and fair events, if someone is hosting. I also suggest you trade your platinum coins for diamonds. Platinum is nearly worthless when paying for expensive items, whereas diamonds are always in constant need because of weapon preperation.

What good are Event coins when there is no current use for them... It's like winning the lotto and being told that you'll get it soon...

Also every time a European EM appears... they seem to mess up or not know something that they should know... as if they we're inexperienced with the GK community.

Exactly my point with coins - it's almost like giving someone some money and say 'now, buy you something nice' just with the difference that there's no store arround...

Satrek, your events are a little bit one-sided... try to make some tournaments, like a RP battle or stuff.

Lol yeah, someone i know work real hard after WWII, and got a lot of money, but he couldn't spend it XD

I know that they are one-sided in a way, but I try not to base them on pure strength, and I'm working on different kinds, yet my capabilities are somewhat limited for different reasons. But your point's taken, and will be meddled with ;)

Yea the Event Coin shop will get online:p I'm not sure when.
I started this Thread because it isn't very fun to play for New People.
I got a Phoenix Gear, Diamond Force, Sorigs.
I'm happy with them but what about the New Players?

We need to do more Events that Low Levels can win too

Events aren't to make people strong, but to bring fun. There will always be some who lose, and it's be unfair to them to give out extremely strong items (as has been done a while back). What we need isn't more events, but a few more items accessible to newbies - say craftable gaunlets and bracers. Those who have the proper ones will still use them, but it'll improve things for newbies - just an idea so you see my point, or so I hope ;)

Weeeeell, what your saying is good and bad imho. Liek, players value items too much just because there aren't that many of them, not on their usefulness, which is kind of dorky really. A lot of players with event items have like 599594594594 of them and will only ever use 5. the other 599594594589 are going to waste, since the player who has them won't give them to someone who -does- need them, or at least trade them sensibly :rolleyes:

However, if lots more event items were evented off like all the time then the result would be that everyone would have them and they wouldn't be special -at all- anymore. And besides, event items don't even make a difference any more due to IWDs and EAs (excluding the stupid ones like RoWs and stuff).

That's just a point.
Make event items with just normal stats: ac+.. armor+....
Now you have like Con+1 and Strenght +1.
That kind of stuff. It just make speople strong-fast or whatever.

Couldn't you Event Masters stop making the items with +con or +Str or something like that?

By this you will get strong!
Just make some leet things..Not with uber stats.
