Block/Ignore = Show History
 

When you put someone on block/ignore on client I noticed you can't check your message history with them afterwards. I'm unsure if your pm log file is erased in the PM folder but I'd figure so ;p

My suggestion is to allow you to see message history even while you have someone on block (and to not erase the pm logs file if it is erased -_-.) This is pretty handy for some situations as you may sometimes need the log of something said by someone you blocked for future reference, example; blocking someone for harrassing you through pm and wanting to show the log to an admin.

Yeah, this annoys me really bad too. The file is in fact erased. I don't know why anyone would make it do this in the first place.

I believe there is a log of all conversations over the pm system.... so it might not be neccisary for you to show the admin the snibbit.

I might be wrong though.


At any rate, if you blocked them on the pms, the only way you could be further harrassed is out of game, or in some way other than the pm system...

in most cases ingame, the person will usualy forget about you if you log out and come back latter. If they continue to bother you ingame, take a few screenshots and then ask the admin if they'd care to see them.

Hi, that was called an example and wasn't even a problem of mine.

This has been here for ages. Just one of those things I've gotten used to and never reported here. Thanks for bringing it up Mr.Chris :]

Yea, it would be nice if the log files didn't delete themselves after you blocked someone.

I hate that.

How do you even rationalize that thought? Do you seriously think Graal is logging every line of text spoken by every player via PM? That would be like gigs and gigs of text being stored each day.

The conversations are not stored on the server. That would be so badly inefficent, and not to mention quite an invasion of privacy. See, there's a reason they are called "Private" messages. Because they are supposed to be private.

*idea*... Make Graal so it could be triggered to log a pm conversation when questionable and profane words come into use!!! better yet, be triggered to send the pm to the admin, too!

Idea: Let's place monkeys gifs on every server. I think mine was slightly better than yours.
