I had to reformat my computer a couple days ago. Because of this, any email I had before January 2nd got deleted. If I do not respond to your email today, it is likely that your email was lost.

Jebus Lyndzey.. You always seem to have e-mail problems.

It's not like I can't get it to work, I had an mIRC virus that disabled my internet so I had to reformat. So basically...all emails I had not replied to were deleted.

In outlook (express or not) you can say "Keep the messages on the server for x days".

Set it to something like 7 days and you'll never lost anything (or do like me, use webmail ;) )

I didn't know that I was going to have to reformat though, I wasn't able to access any applications with the virus I had.

He is just suggesting a precautionary measure, so if it happens again, you wont lose your messages, for seven days at least.
