hey what size avatar do they let you have? I know the standard is 50x50 but I am hopeing it is more then 85x85.....

yeah when you shrink it it gets all distorted

my avatar is 85x57

you might as well try to use it when you get 500

ill first see if I can use it as is but if I cant ill cut it down

in vB 2.01 the size limit gets bigger i believe

no it dosnt the standard is still 50x50 but it can be changed by the admin

The Sims Resource has a forum that is the same as this VB but it has to be a newer version. The smileys have different colors etc, and I know that the avatars can be bigger. I think mine on there is 60x60

I thought merlins was around 80.

mabye it was different limit when the forum was first opened
you know, like when ppl could add their avatars without having 500 posts? perhaps they set the limit lower. But i wouldnt know, I signed up on april 1st

blah can some one test for me? make a 85 by 85 gfx & see if it works

Never noticed anything, but should've looked, I regestered day after it opened.

o well I took 5 pixles off of it so I will be able to use it but I still need to test if I can use the big one

y didn't u just resize it, makes it look much neater

There isnt any thing wrong with it now...it would look worse if I did resize it
