Problem with the editor

Ok people, this time don't go of topic and start insulting me just try to answer my question, now im having trouble with the editor, im guessing its because i downloaded that thing in my lastg post that kid say was the updated version commands.rtf, im wondering whats wrong because supposedly all the commands in it are fake and I accidentally ovedrwrote the old one with it and now almost all the player manipulation commands are fake and when I try to execute the level it doesnt play, i press f4 to go back to the editor and it erases everything i've done, any of you have the same problem.

You forgot to type your question. What is it exactly are you trying to figure out?

The F4 bug that resets your level has been there for a while. My suggestion is to save your npcs in a text document and for levels whenever the screen goes blank just click X. Don't save or do anything or your level afterwards or it will be wiped out permanently. You can open up a new graal window, load your level and it should be the way it was the last time prior to saving it.

Overwriting the command list shouldn't really alter the game at all. Maybe you should just try re-installing Graal?

Dude you completely missed my point, in the file he posted there were fake commands and it somehow screws up my levels, im saying would you please download the file read it and tell me which commands in it are fake i found this out when a fellow scripter of mine told me yesterday
disablepause; is a fake command, so would you get the file and tell me which ones are fake so I know which ones to avoid?

Very unlikely. The file is only displayed and not used by the editor at all.

As Loriel mentioned, they should have no effect on Graal.

If you just re-install Graal it should replace the "fake" commands file and hopefully fix the other problems.

I hope you aren't talking about my commands.rtf, cause there's nothing wrong with it, not to mention disablepause and disablemap, while they have been somewhat replaced with enablefeatures, do work

Moved to Tech Support forum thingie.

Betting that the 'fake' commands are serverside.

zell12 12-17-2003 01:15 AM

commands.rtf accects your level editor in no way.
