Pixel Life 3 :: New Screenshots Outside/Inside
 

Ok guys most of you looked at the last thread , I am now working on a 9 level town that will probably make me get alot of stuff done, such as a pharmacy and Burger Place,Hospital,Police Office,
Office Buildings,Homes,Theater,Something like a YMCA and maybe a few more things. So far we have a police station and Clicks.

Also if you want to expiernce these levels ome on Dark Nations , which someone is letting develop on. Ask me and i will warp ya.

I don't want to be mean, so let me sum this up;

I like it, it's like a 2d sims.
Have you ever played The Sims, or Animal Crossing?

Pehaps you should forget guns and weapons, or just have small things like bats and knives, and since there will be things like a burger place, police department, apartments.. perhaps you could make it into a sims like game, where you have to keep your character in shape, have good hygine, not be hungry, all that.
It would be a new and fun thing to come to graal.

Ya I only want have like the police and Law Enforcement to have guns only for security reasons but i might have airsoft and paintball. I want it to be like Sims but out of the box.

Suggestion: Come up with a new idea.

Trust me, from what I've seen, you have barely started. That screenshot is horrible, is that green supposed to be grass? If it is and you plan to leave it like that, you have no business even trying to make a server (or whatever that's supposed to be).

Umm, no offense but.
The graphics are original, and the idea is supposed to make it like a sim, and it can't be an era-ripoff, because well uh.. Era is not anything like The Sims.

But i think the idea is good if you can get the scripting help, having things like buying buisnesses and selling food, keeping up with your character, going to work, going to school.

ya Kain is helping me with that. I want alot of jobs to get salarys and get promoted and such.I want things to be real not just appear. Grocery Stores will have to buy from the farms,Reasturants and fast food will also have to buy their stuff.

Also, the name is "Pixel Life 3" so, apparently it's a sim, where it's the life of your pixel :p

Anyway, it has quite a few good staff, also where can i find more information about Pixel life 1 and 3, and possibly a site for PL3?

It doesn't sound like Era at all to me, it sounds like Emily said, the Sims but with more freedom. And I personally like the simplistic graphics. Not everything has to have uber detail, he is giving it a cartoonish look and I like it.

I like most of your tiles so far. You really need to create some more tiles/graphics so it doesn't look so repetitive though. Great job.

It seems that any playerworld that is modern based with streets becomes an Era rip off.

The guy has mentioned nothing of gangs or weapons (which is what Era has become) so I don't see how it is a rip off of it. Does this mean that no modern playerworlds should ever be made because they will be an Era rip off?

I don't really like those type of tiles (the like glossy round look) but I'm sure other people would like them.

Im planning on releasing a complete town after New Years Day. If i work hard enough i will make the town christmas decorated. And maybe everyone could open a present with a random npc.

Lyndzey those glossy tiles are supposed to look like the super shiny clean tiles at the Quickie Mart

He also stated that they would be illegal to players and only for police so that its not all gun pking but there will be paintball games and stuff. So I assume players would have to obtain them through dirty ways, and then get killed by police and lose them ^^;

Are you serious? He is right about some things. Mostly the grass, its just the color green... At least try..
