script commands

addspritedef, addspritedef2, and removespritedefs.
it would function like tiledefs, only instead of effecting the tileboard, it would effect the sprites.png.

actionrconline would also be fun, and rcchats (rather rcchat) wich returns the last said rc chat text regardless of weather it starts with /npc or not (or if it was even said by an rc).

I think a friend of mine brought this up a while ago, he was just laughed at or something. :(

I think it's a good idea!

You can use #F for that

I think the new RC logs RC chat you see, that should be sufficient for most uses...

(of it addspritesdef being brought up before) o.o cool! I didn't know anyone mentioned it, not that it matters.

(of actionrconline) actionplayeronline isn't triggered by rcs, though yes, #F is fantastic for checking to see if the player is a rc or not

(of the logs) logs take up space. either way, rcchat/rcchats or w/e triggering when any rc chat text still would be usefull.

Its cool that someone else thought of this idea too, instead of it being discarded and lost in the past. :)

I am still confused about why G_Yoshi was against the levelstartname part of it, but hope this gets added sometime.

We should wait for the new version to come out before things like this because it might already be possible with the new scripting features.

he said actionrconline, as in when an RC logs on.. you can use #F to tell whether or not the ID in question is an RC or not, but to detect when an RC logs on would be a lot more complicated

lol, I supose stats are probably the first thing that comes to mind when you think about the sprites file...

why not take a peek at it sometime?

The part I have in mind would realy be the bushes and signs, because I like the classic tileset better, but I can't realy get a good improvision for the signs and bushes going...

also, it could be used to adjust the round thingy that apears when deflecting a projectile...

.. or adjusting the blood of the baddy...

or... wow, something that applys to even 2k2...
adjusting the ripples for when walking around in puddles, or swiming, etc.

the sprites file does alot more than stats, and you should know that.
