Help?

Recently my DSL has been experiencing problems.

Ok, so I log into outlook express to check up on my emails for [email protected]. I start to get new emails load up (mostly spam) then start to check my first email. As soon as I try to send an email, I get the error message that I am disconnected from DSL, even though DSL gave me no error message that I was disconnected. So it won't allow me to send any emails from [email protected]. Anyone know how to fix this?

The reason I am posting this here instead of the Not Graal Related Threads is so people who have emailed me can expect an email from [email protected] instead of [email protected]. I will be replying from [email protected] as soon as I get this problem fixed.

Don't use outlook. :(

It's possible you either got a virus, or outlook is somehow not configured to your connection and it's either trying to connect using an alternate method, or it's not detecting your connection.

Well, your incomming mail (POP3) should be set to graalonline.com or whatever, and your outgoing mail (SMTP) should be your isps thing. Like mine is seascape.ns.ca. I think it's like that, mabey the other way around, hehe.

You replied to an email of mine just simply saying "test." :p

or you might wanna try going to your ip website, (the one that has all the information on ur dsl's connection and the status and everything), and restart ur dsl connection. I have DSL also and its been having some problems in the past and i just restarted the connection and everything fixed, but i personally dont recommend using outlook, use msn or yahoo.

The graalonline e-mail for both POP3 and SMTP for me are setup as pop3.graalonline.com.

What is the exact error message that OE gives you?

Yea, I get it working and then it goes back to the same thing.

It just says "ERROR CANNOT SEND MESSAGE" or something like that, I can take a screenshot of that once I start having problems again.

It's like as soon as I try to send an email I am disconnected.

I used to use OE but then it started to give me problems and it got real complicated so i switched over to a mail.com account makes things a whole lot easier
