Hello all, i know i post on these forums rarely, if at all.


I have been playing Graal for about 4 years now, and I think I finally want to try making a server.

Over the years, i have held many positions in all sorts of servers, i have observed patterns, ideas, and systems that have worked, and failed.


First ill tell you a little about my vision...

Well there will be 3 kingdoms and 5 classes (Archer, Warrior, Mage, Ice Mage, Fire Mage)....I'm just kidding, i wouldn't do that to you ;)

Well it is nice to know what you want from us. Now what can we expect of you? How do I know you're not a slacker? Or that you can't do those things you've wrote down?

Alrighty, fair enough question :p

Ability to Write Well - I feel my writing level is par, if not above average, I have written design documents in the past, and that is my plan for this server. I/We will write a highly detailed design document, then carry out the developing with much help from other staff members.

Lots of Ideas - I have played numerous amounts of games/server/playerworlds to gather ideas that work. But, i also have many ideas that i believe are creative, unique, and workable. Soul Blade hired me for his Ideas Team for Shifting Ages until i had to quit because of other commitments.

A Detailed History of Past Experiences - OK, this ones a bit of a toughy.

I believe my first ever staff job was Coasta De Agua. While it was a sub-par server, i gained much knowledge on how NOT to run a server there. I learned much about staff organization and what qualities make or break a server.

I have also been accepted to maybe about 10 servers because of my Graphics work. I had no interest in any of these servers, so i have never held a graphics job for more than a couple of months.

I have also held ET jobs on servers (2k1, others that didnt make it).

A Willingness to Help - I am tired of servers either being dependent on guns or kingdoms or jobs or money. That is my willingness. I want to see a new kind of server. While i do realize that there are bigger fish in this "new" kind of server area (Oasis, Shifting Ages), I want to take a shot at this, success or fail.

I will vouche for Maverick that he is not a slacker. :)

You have to understand, there are alot of playerworlds in the making now, not many people want to just start a brand new one from scratch, it's alot of work.

That's understandable...ho-hum *yawn* :p

Well recently leaving my previous playerworld, Dark Legends (I was co manager), this looks to be a fun project to work on. I have a very good writing ability, willingness to work, ideas, and ill tell you about my previous jobs on AIM (My aim is 'wow theres matt') and I added you to my list.

If you've got some excellent skills in things like NPCs, I'd be most interested in your service :)

I am willing to help I have strong points in all forms of developement except npc programing.My strongest point is graphics.I have worked on many servers made many graphics and quit because all of them were going down hill.I do concept art in my spare time and Im working on a note book of ideas I was going to start my own server but I don't have the time or the funds so I will lend my skills to you if you'd like.I have been on a few public servers including era and frolic and I have been offerd a job by just about everyone.I am looking for an original server as well and will take the nesscary means to develope one be it with you or on my own.
