That's what his suit is for... Besides, that would be like having a heat proof shield. The heat is all around, just like the kryptonite power or whatever. :P

Are you sure? Because i remember him having kryptonite on a chain around his neck or something, it still made him mad weak... Even thought it wasnt actually touching him, only his suit.


I thought they used those in the fire department, when they're trying to get into a door or something, heat eminates from a source. It's not attracted to it.

When the heat is concentrated in one direction yes. But I'm talking about like... using a shield when it's like 110 degrees outside. It's not going to help cool you down at all.

Yes it comes from a source, but the source is incredibly strong. Much like the sun.

You could stick the piece of kryptonite under the shield, then sit on it :)

But how do you know the shield will sit flat on the ground over the kryptonite. If it doesnt the stuff the kryptonite gives off will seep out from under the edges then you will have a problem.

Duh, it's superman's shield, so obviously it can expand and contract... Just like that ninja monkey's stick thing.

You're thinking of the legend Sayukai (spell?) with the Monkey King. It is the legend that Dragon Ball is based off of.

really? I know that there was a TV show on Fox or something that was about an actual monkey with a stick... And yeah, he had a cloud i think, so that makes sense.

That makes sense flying numbus + power pole + moonlight = Monkey King (the dbz version)

I doubt it that god doesnt look too much like a monkey, and it has a small scepter of some sort not an extendable(sp?) staff. Although I could be wrong.

GoZelda: No, it's a Chinese Legend. I believe the Monkey King is some kind of trouble maker put on a mission to journey to the west for some reason by some god..I don't remember the exact details. But the Monkey King pisses off the god and he kills him or something..:megaeek:

Didnt they once have something about the Monkey King on Jackie Chan Adventures. Is that the same monkey king we are talking about where he was originally a puppet and a god of discord and joking or something.
