it might just be me
has 2k1 fell into another slump?
it seemed like everything was going good and kingdoms were going to be well done by now, but now that there is this dev server the only staff guy that actully does any work is shadowless. and boy does he work, but i dunno, it seemed like the server was getting more done when the staff got to work directly on 2k1, i mean sure it worked with graal kingdoms, but 2k1 just isn't popular enough to pull off the whole test server thing and still get work done :O

2k1 is in another slump. A bad one.
The only person I ever see working is that "Shadowless" person, and I believe that without him, 2k1 would never come out of this slump.

Hi, were understaffed. Howcome you stopped doing work?

Pft..I do anything I'm asked to by Tseng (he actually never really ask for anything much) and little projects on the side because I don't like feeling useless but the one thing I don't do (script) is neccessary for anything I do to get implemented. As for my FAQ Chief job I believe I've done that well too ._.

Sure Shadowless/Haunter was assigned a large proportion of work to do in comparison to many of us but I take offense when the rest of staff are completely disregarded because of this.

Hi, i made a kingdom i had passion for, then after 2 weeks nothing was done with it. and i no longer have accsess to get on graal 2001 and upload fun stuff whenever i feel like it or do stuff with the kingdom i built, so i don't see any point in doing any work. plus like it was said shadowless is the only one who ever does any work, we are not understaffed, we are undermotivated

It'll get put up with all of the other kingdoms. Also, some people've brought up questions of level quality.

Okay, new rule.

Motivation -> Keeping job.
No Motivation -> Not keeping job.

Lots of people want to work on 2k1, but I try to keep the quality at a pretty high level. There aren't a whole lot of staff of that good quality, and unfortunately they all seem to be pretty damn selfish about the whole Dev server idea, with the exception of two of our newest recruits (Shadowless and Scott, whose work excels far beyond anything I'd thought we'd be blessed with).

The point: You've entered a spiral, as have the other staff..

No work done -> No fun on server -> No work done.

Please get out of said spiral.

And it's not quite possible that you could be warping around, you've got no Admin NPC rights.

What are the requirements for that job?

You must be power hungry.
You must be able to abuse your power to the fullest.
You must be able to abuse your powers for 6-7 hours per week

you forgot:
You must never do any work.
You must be staff for no reason other than having power.
You must, in the end, go corrupt and make a pitiful attempt to delete the server, even thought the manager has a backup for everything.

You should, i love your work it's all awesome and i'm sure you could add lots of new and exiting things to Graal2001 to get it's playercount back up and maybe even help those two races that were being worked on for Graal2001.

If I make a server like Era (modern tileset, gangs etc) it is COPYING. Sure it's not exact, but it's not an original idea whatsoever. If I was to make a server with an overworld like G2k1, npcs like 2k1, jobs like 2k1, quests like g2k1, and use the bomies and hats g2k1 uses, would that not be copying? :rolleyes:
