Skills?
I was wondering what a few skills did....
When you level agility and personality.... What exactly do you gain from these? Other than overall EXP...I have singing and stealing....And leveled both of them to level 2..hehe did not notice any changes other than gaining exp...I was wondering if you were to get to like level 10 or so would it do something for you? |
Use oratory after charming a monster with singing to turn it into your pet, the higher your personality level the easier it is and the higher level monsters you get. I'm lv7 personality and can run through a HH pressing the hotkey for oratory and in no time leave with possibly 25% of the monsters =P

I can use singing on the smaller monsters right now, like mushrooms and such. It says I calm them down...but then I cant do anything else with them...... |
As for effect, like gaining grace for leveling wisdom, agility and personality have no effect. It has been suggested before that agility should influence ac and personality charme or such, but as of now, they don't do anything outside their skill-range.

Agility should add 1 AC or maybe .3 speed every 10 levels or so... same with Personality should add 1 charm every 10 levels... Just using that as an example...Of course we would need to figure out a safe a fair level to level these stats at. Anyone know where I can find orotary? Isn't that leadership? |
To use oratory, you need to know Oratory, Performing, and Leadership.

I like it the way it is, and you'll always find some people who would rather abuse this possibility, so I wouldn't bother to change it. Also, I've never seen a real dangerous monster being charmed, say red rex upwards, and even though a rex is strong if you're new, you should still be able to run. As for deathtraps, that's rather due to the fact that monsters get stuck at house entrances.
