Some commands that I don't understand.

Can someone PLEASE explain to me what these commands are and how they are used, along with the syntax of them?

copylevel string,string;
copystrings string,string;
sendrpgmessage (I have no idea what the params are)

I would really like help, I can't find these commands anywhere, not in the newfeatures either. :(

copylevel oldlevelname.nw,targetlevelname.nw;

sendrpgmessage Text would go here, I'd imagine.;

I would like to know how copystrings got out... that was a pretty secret command besides to the few people I told it to...

its copystrings fromprefix,toprefix;

with (npcs[npcscount-1]) copystrings this.,thiso.; would copy all the this. strings from the npc in the with statement to the npc that got that

side note: sendrpgmessage doesn't work on servers unless stefan enables the rpg window

...why would you keep it secret in the first place?

Not really a matter of keeping it a secret, was ore like I didn't want to make a new thread everytime a new command is releaed, and I just saw that I did post about it awhile ago :O

I'm an Admin of Babylon and we contantly see new commands come and go. I've seen copystrings being used by several people, and I do believe that sendrpgmessage is globally allowed now, since several servers have been using it (even UC ones)

Riot-Starter 10-22-2003 12:00 AM

Yes sendrpgmessage seems to work on all servers, I tested on a UC and Classic server and it works on both.

just in case some **** asks...
sendrpgmessage is serverside!!!
and if u dont know u open the "thingy" by pressing F2

ForgottenLegacy 10-23-2003 06:47 AM

I'm not stupid, and I got all the commands to work.

I myself tend to think the Scripting board is more intelligent spelling and grammer wise and more rule abiding than the other forum sections, please don't ruin that.

Shut up. ^^

ZeLpH_MyStiK 10-24-2003 01:23 AM

Well im sorry if **** has misled anyone it seems this board will mask up almost anything even if it is not a foul or obscene word. And in regard to ForgottenLegacy's post, I am not calling you or anyone stupid.

ForgottenLegacy 10-24-2003 02:50 AM

Unless you want people to regard you as 'stupid', then use words that will not get 'bleeped by the censor' so-to-speak. Use the words 'unintellegent' or 'unwise' to depict a stupid or uneducated or immature person, do not use obcienities. Thankies!

ZeLpH_MyStiK 10-24-2003 03:37 AM

Ok perhaps you did not read my previous post correctly, the word i used was not obscene and does not imply stupidity. It was another form of "nub," i just did not know it would get masked out. If the four stars confused you im sorry. But please do not guess and imply what i said was you are...

Konidias felt that abbreviations for the term 'newbie' were immoral and should not be allowed. Sometimes that proves true, but anyone who uses that word demeaningly is idiot enough as it is that they'll get themselves in trouble anyway. *shrug*

ZeLpH_MyStiK 10-24-2003 04:58 AM

Hey i apologized, if you have to fight back at me i have to defend myself.

Huh? I was talking about in general, not directed at anyone in specific.

I disagree on the original meaning of newbie being immoral, but the way it is used nowadays sure is immoral.
