I'd say stick with the one you have. It's not as big for one.
I'll tell you this right now, and I hope you don't take offense to it:

You have a lot of talent but your stuff still looks really amateur. But if you keep practicing it will get better. I really think you just need to keep your ego in check and take criticism instead of turning it away like you think your stuff is perfection. I could point out so many things wrong with that picture but I'm going to hold off from doing so because I'm afraid you'll leave the forums and hate me for life just because I'm stating my opinion.

You do have a point there. Even though at a first glimpse the picture looks really great, if you look a bit better you'll find the path, flowers, grass and trees boring. Ofcourse i can't really point it out good because i can't do any better or near it.

I really think you can lay off the highlights, your giving the surface of everything an plastic feel.

Also some pillow shading is in there.

Just fix those up and it will look a lot better in my opinion.

Shmeh, I'm not fond of his character art. The best of his work was the indoor tiles that were shown in the playerworld forum. :) I'm not keen on the shading, though my shading is horrible so I shouldn't talk.

It seems weird to change the topic quickly, but I'm not avoiding it.. I took some critique over AIM with someone on the picture, they'll vouch for me if they want, either way.

I'm trying my hand at a new and, decidedly different kind of GFX.
