It seems unless 'ghostmodeenabled=false' is explicitly listed in the server options, almost no one can log on a playerworld, neither with client nor RC. The server owner could log in with their special account but they still appeared as a ghost in game.
I do not think this is by design :(

well, if ghost mode is enabled, then that doesnt mean no one can log on. for example, lets say on a private server you set the ghost mode to enable, that means that even if your on a trial yo uwill be able to enter the server but as a ghost, and every player will be a ghost even those with gold/VIP. So i dont know what the problem is thats happening with you loriel, but that shouldnt have anything to do with it, but if ghost mode is disabled and you dont have gold/VIP and you try to log on then it will tell you that you need to register an account. Thats why its better to keep it disabled unless you wanna be a ghost on your own server =X.

hes saying if there is NOTHING in the server options that begins with "ghostmodeenabled=", then his problem occurs, you need to have either "ghostmodeenabled=false", or "ghostmodeenabled=true", you can't just have " ".
