I'd like someone to make a playerworld that scares the hell out of you. Like resident evil games, all they do is do unexpected things. Or use music and sound effects to make you jump. It would be cool.

Key to that would be good music and sounds, which I think Graal is lacking right now.

actually azure that looks identical to the spirits on Princess Mononoke. :p

Yeah, it's the forest spirit or "kodama" from Princess Mononoke. I think it looks good... although I don't remember them floating (except when they died?) You should have made his head turn like they do in the movie. :)

no, the key to that would be a MIRACLE!!! I think it's just plain impossible to make something thats actually scary on a mmorpg, ESPECIALLY a 2d mmorpg like graal... dont get your hopes up at all for something like this

ClockTower was kinda scary for me.

It isnt a mmorpg, but its 2d.

Yes it was for the most part. There were several ClockTower games.

It was still scary tho lol, one of the early attempts in that genre.

Clock tower rocks, it was way before SH or RE, it is the scariest game ever.

Princess Mononoke was a neat Anime, the Kodama spirits were funny =P Especially when they had like an entire canopy filled with them, the wind kicks up and they have this face on like "WooooO!"

But I think Miyazaki's Spirited Away was probably the best anime I've ever seen, the sheer level of creativity and the atmosphere of the whole movie made Mononoke look bland O.o

(My Neighbor Totoro was neat too, I'm 99.9% sure that they made Miyazaki as well.. Considering you see a small Totoro before the movie starts) And the people look the same, they have the Dust Mites ...dot dot dot, etc

I tried for the longest time to make his head spin correctly but it just ended up looking stupid... so I just made him float heh

I may just make it all vectorized and then animate it in flash, would probably end up having a nice head twirl motion... plus I can even make the clicking sound with it heh


but anyway, I think graal can have scary looking stuff... its just a matter of making it... I may put up some music some friends and I composed, if I could I would use the music in graal but there are size limits. I was thinking of releasing a "game patch" where it downloads all the graphics and music and all of that stuff. And then when you play you see them... though I dont know how I would check to see if the patch was applied o.o maybe someone wants to help me make a PW? I can get a free one anyway so if some good scripts and graphics guys want to we can go at it :D
