ideas that stefan'll never use even if i mention em

"Polywhat? it's a frog spell!"

ok, nevermind....
anywho, some good ideas for kingdoms...
1) horse cart... you could load up items... beds, chairs, people maybe, and use a horse to take it somewhere else....
2) "WHERE THE HELL IS MY HORSE?!?!" people say this alot, so why not have a horse locator thing on the map? if the horse likes you 75%+, it shows up on the map...
3) newbie's guide to RPing.... nuff said
4)better pickaxes... they'd crack rock quicker... the best being the diamond-tipped axe... worst being your fists. (already implemented)
5) did i mention the newbie guide to RPing?
6) thief tools...used to break into locked items...
7) better locks... used to slow down the theif...
8) barricades... and i mean spiky things that hurt if you touch them.. or maybe caltrops.... yeah... caltrops.. kinda like jacks, but instead of being rounded off, they're pointed at each end :D

Maybe have the chests in dungeons able to be picked sometimes by thieves...

I mean they serve no logical use from my experience and can give new players a wrong impression.

There should be no way to steal from other players without their help (which would be scam) - period. Apart from that, what I'm missing most are forts and some creatures on kingdom islands - even bomys would do...

hmm.. yah.. i'd have to agree on the theiving thing with you...so 6-7 are out, but all those other ones are pure gold... the missing horse locator i've even mentioned to stefan, and that was in June!

we need MOBs on kingdom islands... and don't gimme that "what about shell bomys?" load of !@$%... they are weak and easilly kiled... we need (reg) bomys...

and i have another idea to add to the list...

what about pets that follow alongside you, can attack, be harmed and killed, and take various forms. I miss Dark Age of Camelot (anybody play that still? I didn't upgrade my acc after the 30 day... i think i'll do that next june...) and what i won't forget is my Wolf Familiar i summoned... if you remember a few years back... i was Donnavon ( i think) , the guy with a green cloak and wolf familiar who would frequently kill those little leprechaun dudes... but this would be great... and the more experience you gain, the pet gains more too... so even if you are level 999999999999 (imposible of course) and just get a familiar, it would be level one... and not much help... so getting a pet early on (lvl 1-10) would be good...

god i miss DAoC... that was fun as hell... except when i died... and had to find my spot where i died so i could get some stats and exp back.... dangit, what was my party thinking when we attacked that spider... I was a healer, sure... but not that good of one... i only had cure light wounds i believe....

You know, if you worded your title a bit more eloquently, someone might just be interested in reading them.

i named it that because nowhere... on the boards, on the site, on graal, or applied in the game, has the horse locator been mentioned... even though stefan said it was a good idea and he was thinking about that...

So he didn't use what sounds to be an impractical idea. Big deal, doesn't mean you should whine about it in topic threads. People are far more likely to read your thread, perhaps even care, if you make a positive suggestion/title.

Futhermore, if you really believed that they wouldn't get used, why suggest them in the first place?

To summarize - suggestions are good, but sarcastic/whiny thread titles like this are not.

They do catch the eye though :\
Human mind likes scandal etc.
I wonder if someone 'd react on a "dont click this" thread XD

Newbie Guide - <3
Better Pickaxes? Naw, maybe a bit better one...
Horse Cart - great idea
Barricades - yeah, and make earth to dust less strong :O
