Thiefs and their skills
 

Hey. Im a thief. I get 20 Dex. I get stealing skill. But when I try to use the stealing skill, the enemies notice me or prevent me. When I try to get close enough, they start moving. It almost seems like the stealing skill does not even work. What am I doing wrong?

You have to level up your agility before it will start to work. You can do this by either mining, or growing plants (any food and trees) to get a very little amount of agility exp, then I think once you start using the skill you get agility exp, but I'm not sure.

You can also steal from bomys and potatoes, but for the first level or two it'll be difficult.

I have a thief account, it sucks, I only used it for speed XD

So i got another account and use Barbarian

I'm lvl4 agility and they still prevent :-x

I got avility level 9, and I can steal from red rexes, iguanodon babies and below. Still, they almost certainly notice the attempt, and on second try it is prevented - it always is. So even if you're successful, they will most likely notice it.
