New Body Colors

1 Attachment(s)
The current Graal character body colors (red, white, black, blue, pink, yellow, purple, cynober, green, darkred, brown, darkblue, darkgreen, orange) are kind of limited, and limit players to choose the look of their character, unless making a custom-paletted body, which only a few people know how to do. Isn't it time, maybe, for some new colors? Yeah, we have all the basic colors, but what about different shades and such, to match outfits? It'd be awesome for a hex-code color system to be created, or something along the lines of that. That way players can set there colors all the way from #FFFFFF to #000000, any shade they want, such as this attachment.

I done had that idea before! I think it'd be great.

I completely agree, that is a great idea.

you can do this with ganis anyway, soulblade had a good method at least

I believe by putting the sprite into texture mode (COLOREFFECT). If there is a way to edit that outside of the gani then I want to know how. Considering that I'm using terrain anyway people will need a decent 3D card to play Doragon so it won't hurt if I could do something like that I suppose. Since I know that is why Stefan doesn't push the limits on Graal up a few notches.

it'd be nice if the command used hex, like #00FF00 y'know?

Or you can learn to convert it into decimal values :p

What is that supposed to mean? Numbers other than normal graal ones. For what? The actual color value for the body?

Meh..

You say

/coat 34

and it gives you a weird blue color

/coat ## and it gives you certain colors, so just scan through till you find the ones you want :P

Hex would be nice. Although you could use setcoloreffect with an alpha of 1. It worked quite nicely for me.

That is very interesting. I just checked it out too. I'm not entirely sure how it does it.

*edit*
Actually, all that you do is basically when you set the color for the body part instead of using the color name, you just input a value. Of course, some values set the color to black. I don't really know where it gets the palette, though :x But I have seen orange and a few other colors that are not really used.
