Goodbye Doomsday
 

Tonight Tifa announced that she was quitting, and she has now came to the conclusion to have Doomsday shut down along with her management. She was considering passing management to someone, but things didn't end up right. So, to a server I've known since I started Graal, goodbye...Doomsday. :(

It is a bit upsetting, but I stand by Tifa's opinion.

Word on the street is that it may not be going down.

I guess no one ever really did save Doomsday from its forth comming Doom's day.

Doomsday has some of the best levels on it, Snakeandy did a good job there. And Tifa was a great manager, its sad its going, but people will remember good things about it.

It was the right decsion, the people that was left on DD were 90% staff with no brains,
i didnt see anything else comming, it was right and good.

Seems Stefan won't let it be shut down so the saga continues...
I intend to talk to Tifa about Doomsday since I was involved with it from the start with Saga in getting it set up and see what can be done to aid her.

*sigh* Thank you sooooo much everyone, i just wish Stefan and Unixmad could see the support i have in this.
You have no idea how i feel knowing that i'm not just a selfish person that they think i am.
I love Doomsday with all my heart, i've worked tiredlessly for 2 years now, hiring,firing,resolving issues,trying so hard to make it a great server, and it is a great server, just had some bad runs with bad staff etc.
I truly would love nothing better than to give it to someone to continue the dream, but there are only a few staff i would trust it with, and they are leaving with me.
The remaining one or two i would have to train, so that is a possibility i can look into i guess.
Apparenly Saga would like to take over, yet for some reason he hasnt contacted me, and i dont think i'm unreasonable a person to talk to.

Doomsday was great..until the staff roster started getting messed up and all you had to do was ask to be staff to get a tag

Well, fux, I guess I really do suck. I was turned down for LAT tryout twice. :(

=P Nah, i guess they are strict about people messing with there levels.
And Doomsday will succeed into a great server, i know it ^ ^

The only tag you might get would be ET.
We dont hand out jobs like candy.

It's true. I went on last night again to verify she still wanted it shut down. She said no to leave it up under her management (Tifa). ^_^

I guess there is a chance for dooms day to be saved!

I had said, what makes him so special? :p

Maybe because he is the Original Owner and maker of DD would make him special? I see you don't even know the history of Doomsday. :rolleyes:



I personally was involved in this and got the parties together to save DD. I know his SN and it is the same I have talked to him on for at least 2 years so yes it was him. I contacted Saga and then Angel who was on Aim at the time and had them talk to resolve the issue so Doomsday could stay up. I was also in contact with Tifa by email since time zones don't permit us to talk much on Aim.
