Thick as Thieves...
 

Kaitou...a group of thieves.
the idea for this kingdom was submeted by Kaelink. so i am still waiting on the roleplaying history of this kingdom. i just decided to make up a quick little thing for your reading pleasure.
Myself (Geno) and Lamer have made all of the katiou levels and CheeToS has made many a script for us.

Scratching the surface.
The small kingdom of thieves known as kaitou have just been discovered in the forest..apparently they have been cutting down tons of trees and building houses and storage rooms to live in. Today i was taking a stroll down from harmonia to bomboria when i stumbled across two trees with abig whole between them, i decided to wonder inside and see what was going on. I could not beleave my eyes, i saw a magnificant forest village that smelled of freshly chopped down tree. there was a big gate that blocked my path so i could not get in (hah you guys have to wait to see the inside :P). a strange small man apeared and stuck a knife to my throat and told me to hand over all my money, after i did i asked him to wait, i then offered him a bite to eat for a word with him, he then discribed kaitou and the village to me. i took i picture with my camera so i could share it with you nice folks here. all i have to say is be careful while wondering around these parts. ~ Randor Shefin (explorer)

Geno...the first thief (Role Playing History)

Geno...His father was Tybalt of the Karakaze troupe, his mother...died giving birth. Tybalt raised Geno as thief, teaching him to steal and how to get by and basically how to live. Geno didn't know stealing was wrong; to him it had always been his way of life. One day Geno and his father Tybalt went out to the kingdom of Dustari dressed as merchants, the goal was to trick them into letting them inside the castle then they would steal gold. Somehow one of the guards were tipped off that the salesman getup was a hoax, Tybalt and son tried very hard to escape, Geno was cut across the face by a guard that jumped out around the corner, Tybalt was not so lucky, he was captured and thrown into the Dustarian jail...Geno escaped with nothing but the shoes on his feet and the clothes on his back through the river and down the waterfall. The future now and Geno is a grown man, not knowing of what or where his father is, Karakaze Troupe has long been wiped off the face of the earth, during his travels Geno ran into a man that goes by the name Kaelink. Together they have started a small band of thieves who dwell in a small town in the forest. Kaelink gathered the members for this small faction and Geno with his carpenter skill that he picked up along the way built the small village out of trees. Here they hide away all of their goods and just live on day by day. Geno is often hostile and is known to steal alot and even enjoy the art of stealing. In the back of Geno's mind he still wonders what ever became of his father Tybalt, Leader of the Karakaze Troupe.

Suggestion: Redo the history.


Plus there is no smell of 'Freshly cut trees'
To my understanding, there are no cameras (If there is... you posted a 3rd person)?
CheeToS is behind the gate when he said 'Give me your money'

uh what history?
i never posted the history of kaitou seeing how that is kae's job to make it up, because he submetted it, i just posted the finding of it, why do you say there is no cameras? we have go-karts don't we?

We have a computer system... does that mean we have Starships?

starships are way more advanced then computers
seeing how go-karts came out at a later time period in real life then cameras, i would say your at fault, hell, here is no set time period for graal 2001, so maybe you should just give up.

also there is a smell of freshly cut trees, go outside, find a tree chop it down, smell the new exposed part of the drunk.

Well ok... we'll go by 2k1's Technology tree.

I am now starting on my spaceship which will blast into outerspace. I will use the Zalatic Ship for blueprints and blast off into space!

and how does this prove that cameras should not exist on graal 2001? if anything you just proved me right. if zalatic spaceships can exist, then i am sure the technology for cameras does too

Negative... I was proving that just because it's there doesn't mean that everything behind it has allready been invented.

As you said, there is no time period for 2k1. Meaning that the research tree of Graal isn't really the same.

Cameras might exsist, but not because of Go-Carts.

Next time a thief is in your house, give him food and then ask him where his crackhouse is. You'll probally end up dead.

how does this prove that everything behind it in the technology tree has not been invented? i am not going by NPCs that have been scripted zurk, i am Roleplaying.

There are Go-Carts, so where are the cars? The Horse Carriages, the Cannons. Why are there still some 'primative' technologies? Like Swords?

in the post i am the explorer that is reporting to the forums about my discovery of kaitou. what does this have to do with the possiblility of cameras existing in graal?
There were cannons on the pirate ships, maybe this part of the world of graal does not use cars? your asking why they still use swords.... that is just part of the game play your kinda skipping around, your saying they Might exist, but there is no SOLID EVIDINCE THAT IS SAYING THIS STUFF DOES NOT EXIST, hell there just might very well be guns and cars and all of this crap, maybe no one has use for this stuff or no one can afford to open a Jim's Gun and car store" no one is saying this stuff does not exist in the role playing world..hell there are muskets which are guns, but AK47's just never really seemed to fit into graal 2001, but if there are go-karts and muskets i don't see why cameras should not exist.

HAha who the hell are you to tell him to re-do his writing, its much better than the one you posted.

Oh the Zormite one?

The Zormite one isn't a story, it's a recall of history. Plus Geno ish meh bish.

Primative is subjective. I'd say we're just a tad more advanced than horses, for one.

If we can have laser rifles we can have cameras, shutup. Stop acting like this is the feudalism period or something.

On Earth... yes.

But just because that is how it worked on Earth doesn't mean that is how it worked on the Graal Planet.

Laser Rifles, Gocarts, everything is way differnt then Cameras which use light to reflect an image onto a thingy... dont quote me on that, it's just a basic way of saying it. Gocarts use energy to run a motor, and laser rifles havn't even been defined yet.

Perhaps the Graalian planet doesn't even have the natural resources to make alot of things.

Plus Zalatic Rifles were removed I believe o.o

Cool story, except some grammar errors :x...
About the level, the water there should be more detailed and the level should be full of transparent tree-tops since you are inside of a forest, almost like slums :x

Thieves dun chop teh poor trees! Thieves should hide in trees so they can back stab you in the shadows of the trees, if you cut teh trees no shadow, if no shadow no back stab! :O

...So therefor you make a group attack, you and 5 other people simply just storm the person... :rolleyes:
