ATI Chipset and alpha effect thingies

It was reported that on ATI chipsets, the supposedly transparent part of images does get shown if some kind of alpha effect is used on it.
Tested on ATI Radeon 9700 with current drivers.

I think I know what you may be talking about. I've had images with transparent edges (like a circle... the corners have to be transparent, obviously) that have shown weird things on those transparent edges. It's like a line being drawn around the edges that are transparent. It's very strange.

I have a Radeon 8500 btw.

There is a problem, and it is not graal. Some things like circles, polygons, rectanges are not supported for certian color pallets, transparancys, or resolutions. Don't blame graal for it.

Some screenshot would be nice, also would like to know if those things are fixed when using v3

Hmm... that's odd. I went to make a screenshot and it didn't have that problem I described anymore. Maybe the last time I saw it was with an earlier version or something.

I use a ATI Radeon 7200 and I don't have any problem, I am using the latest drivers for it on Windows XP home Edition.

I have a 7200 and I have no problems with transparencys at all except for on graal kingdoms with the inventory. The image is broken into squares and some are more transparent than others are sometimes solid. Its fixed by turning of 3D effects but that just ruins the experience. I see everything else just fine except on that inventory. :/
