Playerworld Limitations
 

ROAR! My npcs won't move on the server! All my old world program code is outdated. I thought it was called graal classic for a reason. The whole drag drop system is good. But that 64k limit is crippling for those large few files. By the way I'm new here.

Anyone know how to change the name of your playerworld? Playerworld67 isn't going to get many people. Don't visit my world until I get npcs working!

i think Stefan changes the playerworld name because thats what he did for me. my pw used to be playerworld 64 but he came on and asked for a server name.

Stefan will log on if someone else is on and ask what the name is.

The upload limit will be increased soon from what Stefan has said.

And for future PW posts, there is a Playerworld Section.
And maybe ask the advice of the GST, or post a part of the code in your NPCs you feel doesn't work anymore, and someone may notice an old function, or an error.

Stephan barely ever has gotten back to me in the three years that I've emailed him. GST? It's cool that I'll be able to name my server soon. All that's left then is to get the old program code to work.

Thanks for the aid. I hope he emails me soon. That is the only real way I have time to communicate. Well back to work. Sigh... work work work.

It's probably because of the NPCServer.

ROAR! Stefan visited my server and I was afk! ROAR! I think it's some twisted fate that I keep missing the opportunity to contact him! 3 years of this! You suck fate!

ROAR, NPC server is far from being a limitation.

Idea: Set your nick to (Your Name) - Stefan, please rename my server to: '(New Name Here)'

Actually I would deem it more effective to change the NPC Server's nickname to that.

Perhaps, but what guarantee exists that if Stefan logged on RC there that he would open the playerlist/check server options?

What guarantees that Stefan will be online at the same time as you are? :p

Also, sendtorc and sendpm shall help too.

Easier said than done. You are talking to a guy who's always working on something. I contacted him through that private message thing. Hope he gets it.

I personally hate the whole instant messenger system, cell phones, ect. It's just society's way of keeping a ball and chain on you. I prefer emails, and answering machines. I see how much my friend is whiped when he keeps pausing a game of Capcom vs Marvel 2 at my house to answer his damn cell phone which rings on average 8 times an hour. And he always answers it! ROAR! It pisses me off even more knowing he barely ever comes over. Like once a month. We both work too much...
