Hi, does anyeone know what the currency is for the $100 you have to pay for a server??.

Cause I need to know because I live in NZ and I have to see how much $100 w/e is in NZ dollars x.x
Or if someone could translate the currencys for me it would be greatly apprecited.

We just sold our house for $510,000 so i'll be getting some money so I might be able to buy a server, I just gotta remember that price.

Thanks alot Minoc, great help.

Are you sure?, I used it sometime this year and it only had a currency converter for the states and something else x.x. (I baught some shoes) and had to get the NZ to AUS currencys.

One more question, what is it that i'm paying for? US dollars?, French?.. something of that sort.

My house is worth about 100k less than that. I'd bet if Nova has/had a house, it would be at least twice as much, but if he lives in a condo, it's probably still twice as much....I'd also bet unixmad's is 500x that, and Stefan's is 1/2 of that. Then again, that's all in U.S. currency I'm talking about...I shouldn't compare it to foreign currency

We never hear here of other 'dollars', that's why all $ on the website are always meaning 'US dollar', could possibly make that more clear.
The conversion from US dollar to euro is like 1:1, sometimes more than 1, sometimes less, but in general the same.

Projectshifter 09-17-2003 03:58 AM

Yah, $ generally stands for US dollar. That's what I have on me keyboard, or I would pull up pounds or something, but that takes time. I know Paypal can convert US dollars to other things, but not sure about other things to US dollars... Yahoo has an accurate converter.

If you select your country as Aust., or Canadam or something, it will convert everything from your country to another.
Oh $99.00 USD = 135.600 Canadian :( so that sucks hehe

draiden0 09-17-2003 03:03 PM

They have a currency converter on yahoo. Or just type in currency converter under any search engine. I used mine to pay for Phantasy Star Online. Yeah, the money for a playerworld is high, but I've had little to no lag on my playerworld. So I guess it's worth every penny.

duzzel_Limit 09-20-2003 03:03 PM

I think living in another place, having to use a converter is pretty 'piffy'... Can't they just rip the dude off with his money without knowing?

 :megaeek:?

draiden0 09-21-2003 12:16 AM

Actually they do rip people off. Foreign countries often pay more for online services, shiping and handling, etc. There are reasons. Importing rules, currency changes, global market, etc. America next to countries like Saudi Arabia is the richest country on the planet. So we are naturally paying the least amount for food, TVs, and internet. At least I hope so. I'm not paying $20 a month for internet.
