Jobs

What are the highs and lows of each job?
I hear Mining is the best? And then that fishing is?

Zurkiba 08-24-2003 03:06 PM

Pearl Diving - Not sure... ask a bomy
Bird Catching - See above
Mushroom Picking - Slightly slower then bread making, but more entertaining
Mining - Only good if you have diamond equipment, otherwise the axe breaks
Fishing - Only good when you get higher level baits, then it goes slower (prices should be raised for fishing)
Farming - Probally the best untill you get diamond equipment, farming means pies!

can you still make snow cones?

Wrong :) It's random, which is why sometimes it's faster and other times it's slow as hell. Problem is that there is only one place to mushroom pick instead of a bunch(the way it was originally thought of).

As for bomies being able to mushroom pick, It simpley has to be enabled through the script, but it's humans only job originally. Now if someone would make cheese making that could be for bomies 0.o.

Yeah they should. Bomies needs more jobs. :]

Mining without a diamond axe is good when everyone needs crafted gold. I sell 5 crafted gold for 30g and I have like 250g. :P

Bomies can't get milk.

deman1171 08-24-2003 07:09 PM

Now that right there is the main reason i want to become a human! i mean bomys can't milk cows! the best part of Graal2001 HAS to be the cows!

I think the economics should work like this...

You cant do bomy jobs without a factor from human jobs... and you cant do human jobs without the factor of bomy jobs.

For example, cheese making.
Humans would sell milk to bomies.

Farming.
Bomies would sell seeds to humans

Milking.
Seeds would be needed to make cows fat.

Yes, Have a bomy milk a cow with its hands. Good thinking.

The only logical way a bomy could milk cows... is if it sucked it out with it's mouth and spit it into a pale.

But hey... how can bomies operate distraines and water cans? o.o

brock128 08-24-2003 11:57 PM

MAKE BOMY STUFF.

There has been nothing for bomies new :(
(and give bomies hands so they can do a few jobs. I think you should make one exclusive job for humans and one exclusive job for bomies, and everything else the same. AND LET BOMYS WEAR HATS. :()

Googi 08-25-2003 01:04 AM

Actually, it seems that bomys can milk now...
