The Next Governor is: (From Ghost)

From Ghost Pirate:

After long thinking, I've came to a conclusion that will both bring pirates to a new
level and bring them to certain greatness once again. There was only two people that
e-mailed me about being governor and both had certain noticeable flaws. Geno, you know
that you can be immature at times and well versed at getting into trouble, and no so
well spoken. These can majorly affect judgements that you may make as governor and as
roleplaying. Your day will come one day, but not day. Misty, you have a knack to complain, and after reading your posts in that massive governor bashmash thread, You seem to come off a little sexist, you even stated that you knew you wouldn't become a governor because you are a female, that isn't true, if you were infact a male you'd be judged the same way on my book. As for another reason, your roleplaying skills are still developing and its best for you to stay as a Captain so you don't become swamped. Now you may ask who is going to be governor. After my long thought process, I'd have to go with the person I was thinking all along, Valder. His the most reasonable person to put into the governor position since his a vetern roleplayer and a aged Pirate. I believe he will beable to handle the position with great capacity. - Ghost pirate

congradulations valder.
:P

Valder 08-15-2003 11:02 PM

Please don't start bashing. I understand that I said I didn't want the job in the beginning, but Ghost asked my directly and I have been thinking about it a lot. I have noticed problems with CP and would like to change it for the better. The only way this can happen is if people don't complain and help me out. CP isn't judged by it's leader completely, but by it's members and I need your support in order to make it better.

No I will not be removing anyone.

If it weren't for the fact that you seemed to want to be governor of CP more because of the fact you would have been "first female governor/king" and kept mentioning the fact that you 'won't' get chosen, you probably would have had better chances at getting it. Your application was good, yes, it just had the flaws that Ghost stated already.

Just because discrimination is something you're used to and expect doesn't mean it's right.

Congrats Vlader. Being a kingdom leader isn't a field day. It's going to take your hard work and dedication. Without it you will fail. There is a single rule I lived by when I lead Astri, 'They need me more then I need them', sometimes this might not be true, but if you go by it then you'll find that you will have a pack of loyal, strong, obedient members.

You are now the kingdom. You are the sole creator and destroyer of what you see in front of you. Your choices not only effect yourself, but they effect the appearance of our beloved Ghost Pirate. You mustn't fail, failure is not an option.

I have around 600 hours of active leadership experience of Graal kingdoms. You can come to me if you need any help.

Bona Fortuna

Because 2k2 relies on your level for defense. But high level doesn't mean good leader.

He claims that being a level 16 barbarian and a level 16 sorcerer have absolutely no difference and claims that he is "owning" me even though he is a higher phys level and has a better AC. He's like "YOUR DAMAGE IS MORE SO THAT MAKES IT FAIR!"

He's being stupid because I have high level friends and because my AC and WC aren't as good as his. I did own him later on though ;)

You have my complete support as long as your on the side of RPing. I caught you talking OOC today, on tag (and RP name), in the trade tables area, while fighting people ;) But then you took off your kingdom tag and RP name, which made things great :) Oh, recruiting seems to be going good! One guy who seemed new today seemed to have a strong sense of roleplaying. Big improvement.

Lol
I forgot I had my tag on for a sec so I took it off quick.

I'm not as bad as you people say I am. (note: say, not prove. You can't prove anything. :( )

Though it's just a figure of speech, that's not a very nice thing to say :( It's like telling someone they can't make anything of their lives
(edited to fix typo)

Obviously, he doesn't know your sexist opinion, or he would've answered with some resons as not to, or he would've acknowledged the fact.

It's not just her being her usual self this time. I think it's pretty sad that bad RPers are recruited, while a friend of mine who is an excellent RPer (or at least better than other members) and has a level higher than other members couldn't get in simply because people are supposedly not being recruited when as Misty said, people in fact are.
