None of Kaimetsus old posts show up, it's freaky :(
I guess he won't mind, and if he will he'll delete this post. |
Lol, that is truly awesome.
|
Chrisz, use your head and search for it.. :o
No offence, nice kai btw:D |

Not long ago many of kai's posts were deleted. That's why it could not be found.
The lighting on that orb is just as impressive as the variable Tesselation depth I'd say. |
Amazing... this seems to be almost ALL arrays =p Nice use of MATH.

when I saw the sphere the first time I was like "...woa" I never considered that 3D was just math... and what can you do in scripting! math!
|
I have the level on my desktop and I sometimes just open it and watch it for a few minutes. It's simply neat-o.
|
hey kai... make me a screen saver(with the graal sphere), or I'll make your life last 10x longer.
|
It's not 'just math', that's merely jealous propaganda that ProjectShifter likes to spread. Mathematical techniques are used, but only as tools for translating from 3D to 2D. All the vertex processing/storing and the tesselation and the hundreds of lines of glue that hold it together are all pure scripting.
You may as well say that a GUI is just showimg ¬_¬ Quote:
